PvE Mesmer/Assassin?
So I've made a Mesmer/Assassin in Factions just because it seemed like it might be fun. From what I understand, for PvE it's a rather unusual combination, and I was wondering if anyone else has tried it and what sort of builds you've come up with.
I only play PvE, so no PvP builds please; that won't help me!

My main is a Me/A, I run a domination build with Assassin's Promise that can steamroll mobs with ease. Of course there are other kinds of Me/A combos out there, you can try an IW mesmer with Feigned Neutrality or Dark Escape and a pair of daggers, it kills slower than the former build and relies heavily on enchantments, but is fun to play. You can also play with some Deadly/Shadow Arts skills that can play nice in some other Mesmer builds. In fact mesmer and assassin are similar classes in the way that they are specialised ¡n taking out enemies fast but one by one, just one is a caster and the other is melee.

yeah, Assassin's Promise is the way to go.
In PVE, it's e-management and MoR on Steroids.

[skill]phantom pain[/skill][skill]assassin's promise[/skill][skill]shatter delusions[/skill] + any damage spell or signet.
It's really effective in pve, but gets boring after a while.

you can use it for touch range stuff like tease, blackout, etc, and have a shadowstep to jump back. Or you could run Dark Escape like Lucy!

Also you can pick up some daggers and go with a [skill]Fevered Dreams[/skill] Conditions (Assassins have many different ones to choose from). Not for every situation but fun for something different and fun for a change.
