Never thought I would use [Extend conditions] but this worked pretty well in RA. Especially in the beginning when people always seem to group up not sure why the do, but they do. It should also work well in PVE. Easy to blind melee and keep them blind (as long as they don’t have monk/ rits removing it. All skills except the signets and glyph will burn even your heal skill.
[Glyph of immolation] [extend conditions] [steam] [Ether signet] [drain enchantment] [Ether feast] [Resurrection signet]
Last spot went with [Ice spear], [Vapor Blade], [shard storm], [Ice spikes]
I did try [phantom pain] and [shrinking armor] but did not like the 10 second wait. (Also not sure if target runs next to allies and the condition hits if it transfers to near foes) Anyone have an idea?
Ether signet is optional I use it only if I get into a bind it can easily be replaced with a defensive stance or disrupt
Fire high enough to get 3 spells and 3 sec burning
Water set at 12
Balance in inspiration
Fast casting any left over’s

No the main point on this build is to hit with burning for 6 seconds any one near the target will get hit as well. The blind is a good mix with glyph of immolation since it triggers on cast no pre burning needed since the spell its self causes the burning.

[extend conditions] does not extend the conditions on targetted foe
only to the spreaded foes
so if u cast it on a foe that is alone...the spell does absolutely nuthin
[steam]'s duration is already longer than recharge
[glyph of immolation] triggers for 3 spells, so u can keep a target perma burned without [extend conditions]

I think the SF reference is an indication that doing it with an Elementalist works better.
Even with the bar as presented, it's not clear that it wouldn't be better as an Elementalist primary.

Did you, by any chance, draw inspiration (pun intended) for the build from this thread?
The [Glyph of Immolation][Steam][Extend Conditions] combination works best in an E/Me build for AB since it leaves enough room for some additional utility, e.g., it would be just criminal to not bring [Slippery Ground] and a couple of nukes to wipe shrines. For a primary mesmer in RA/TA it's pretty subpar since much better options are available.
Also, I can't fathom why you would take [Ether Signet] over [Glowing Gaze] if you have a glyph that autotriggers the energy gain of gaze?
