Lightbulb FC + Aftercast

When I was running around in PreSearing, I was thinking about FC. Would adding a small percentage to reduce aftercast for (only) spells be overpowered, or would that be a good idea? As a Primary, it's not that cool like the others, but maybe it could raise it's usefulness. Discuss. :X

You mean changing the whole primary attribute of Mesmers?

As much as I'd love to see a Fast Casting buff... it's a LITTLE late in the game.

They still changed Soul Reaping a year or two after release, multiple times. ;P Not exactly reworking it, but keep the casting/signet stuff. A minor buff, yeah.

True say, this would involve rewriting a mechanic for a single class... which is probably a lot more work than adding a small timer.

Two problems:
1. FC already is insanely sweet in PvP. It doesn't need a boost.
2. Reducing the aftercast does next to nothing for PvE where FC is weak.
So what this would achieve is overpower FC in PvP and add next to nothing in places where the buff is needed.

I will agree that FC need some sort of a buff in PvE. Any primary can use [skill]Mindbender[/skill] to replicate the entire effect. Perhaps adding either
A) a chance for a 50% recharge or
B) Say, 2 or 2.5% decreased recharge per attribute point.

... in PvE only of course. That would be pretty imba in PvP

they could make FC in pve sort of like mysticism lol. keep all of its current effects, but every time you cast a spell, you get a little hp and energy. like, for every rank in FC, you get 2 hp, and every 2 or 3 ranks, you get 1 energy.

that way all the bad players that call mesmers bad in pve simply because they dont know how to manage energy will stop crying

I like the current fast casting... But 50% recharge would be sweet.

I think the current fast casting is fine. Like upier said, it is very good in PvP; these suggestions listed here would most likely make it imba. Imo, aftercast is not a big deal for a mesmer because I am not usually just spamming spells anyway...
