Hey guys, I jsut made this new build and IDK if it will work right.. so give me comments on what to improve please

475/53 FC head with +3 FC Rune

4 in Fast Casting, 3 of which coming from a superior rune?

I'll be honest with you, I think you'd be much better off running this on a necro, using Soul Reaping instead of Inspiration. [Ether [email protected]] is meh even at high Inspiration - even more so at your spec. Conjure Nightmare is a waste of 15e in PvE - if you want a mesmer degen hex look at [Shrinking Armor] since it has a decent after-effect, it's cheap, and it recharges fast.

the fast casting exists mainly because its my pvp mask and well, to me that doesnt make that big of a difference

[ether signet] is rarely used though just a space filler.

originaly the build was just [spiteful spirit] with [clumsiness] and [wandering eye] for a base template to add depending on the area...

I have not played GW on my mesmer for a bit, though it is my favorite class, and i have been looking to find a build that uses [assassin's promise] and [cry of pain] but i havent found a good one yet....

if anyone can help that would be great

I'm also looking for a build for general PvE that utalizes [Assassin's promise] adnd [cry of pain]

would [shrinking armor] he better then [phantom pain]?
and would [shatter delusions] be that smart of a choice? you would be then using illusion dom and possibley another attribute for a wide spread

I'm sure there's a better way to go about it, but I prefer Drain Delusions to Shatter Delusions for the extra energy since the PvE skills can be energy intensive.

phantom pain causes a deep wound when it ends, shatter ends the hex and springs the deep wound, pretty big damage, pretty quick. not sure if that bar would need more damage on the spike or not, havent tested it. looks good in theory.

what i was saying with [shrinking armor] was that it has a low energy cost and cool down like was said before, so it can be spread more

I used to use a bar like the one Z posted, but without [cry of pain] and [assassin's promise]

Also, i'm a bit lost to why you call it Discordway, it doesn't use [discord]. I know that [discord] requires a hex or enchantment to be sued.. so that's probably why or am I missing something?

would it be wise to take [arcane echo] in place of a skill(maybe [drain enchantment] to echo [ebon vanguard assassin support] or [cry of pain] or [drain delusions]?

Whenever somebody makes a build they call a "Discordway" build but it doesn't involve Discord, it means they're making a caller build for the heroes, who all have Discord. Basically you spam a condition and a hex on an enemy (I use AP and YMLaD), at which point your heroes proceed to rape it for 300ish armor-ignoring damage every two seconds.

An example of a Discordway team is found at this link - it's not the builds I use but it's a decent example of how it works.

well since you're smart with mesmers, would [shrinking armor] be better then [phantom pain] if you werent going with discord heros?

As I said I just came up with the build on the spot in my head. My mesmer is lvl 11, and I dont rly use him much. As for the attributes, I was thinking something like a 10 dom, 6-8 illusion, 12 deadly, rest in fast cast spread. The deepwound from phantom doesnt need to last that long, just enough to drop the guy. So doing something like AP, YMlAD, Phantom Pain, CoP, Shatter, with a set of discord heroes and the thing should be basically dead. And a deep wound helps more in an armor ignoring spike then cracked armor. Suppose you could, but id go with pain more.

alright. i was just wondering because cracked still is a condition and you can use it with less energy to cat for better e management
