Hey Guru.

I've been playing Mesmer for a while, and they are really fun. But, I was wondering, whats your favorite Mesmer build?

[Visions of Regret], never leave HM without it lol. It's my favorite skill to run in HM by far, but in places like AB, I just loves me some [Power block].

But overall, [Visions of regret] is just my fav mes elite. May not be everyone's fave, but it certainly tops my list for the fun factor.

In pve [skill]Extend Conditions[/skill] and [skill]Fevered Dreams[/skill] because I love running condition spreader builds in pve.
I'm also rathe fond of [skill]Migraine[/skill] or [skill]Power Block[/skill] with a build full of anti-caster or [skill]Ineptitude[/skill] with a build full of anti-melee too.

This being Campfire - none.
My mesmer is currently boring my socks off in PvE - so he's being used as a glorified mule.
The problem is that the build that Kosta gave (minus CoP - which I don't enjoy) works on any guy. And I enjoy it more on my ritualist because Ancestors' is had always been one of my favorite skills.

If I do want to have some sweet mesmer-time I load up a PvP guy and go to Aspy. And there my Puppy enjoys his time with:

Well, that was pre-change. The new rules suck so I stay away.

Inspiration 10+1
Fast Casting 8+1
[Wandering Eye][Clumsiness][Lyssa's Aura][Frustration][Cry of Pain][Pain Inverter][Energy Tap][Flesh of my flesh]
Wand and Focus with 20% half recharge time for Illusion spells each.

Owns everything in PvE

Also: [Psychic Instability], [Power Block] or [Tease] for FA. It's just too funny to see them fall down when interrupted.

I don't like AP builds. A simple hex remove tends to make you completely useless for nearly a minute. But if it has to be Ap then I'd probably use [[Arcane Echo] to double [[Cry of Pain]. [[Frustration] makes for a great hex with the chance of some bonus damage if the cry does interrupt something.

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Deep Freeze have a position in that skill bar aswell?

Personally, I share the same opinion as Upier. GoE Mesmers were pretty fun in their time, but they had to go. Gale got too spammable with its coniquence partly removed. If I remember correctly GoE was also then first elite I captured with "Tyla Hates You", primarily so I could spam Gale in AB.
