Anyone simply just LOVE the Fragility buff?
A lot of people QQed of the may update. But really. I'm one of the few who was pleased in the end.
I LOVE the buff to fragility.
It just has sooo many uses and damage potential on a mob and it's PERFECT for Cry builds.
It's aoe. Has a cheap cost. Low cast time. And low recharge.
Furthermore, it's effect is amazing even outside of cry builds.
Let's analyze its effectiveness when you use "Finish him!"
Finish him at a normal norn rank should deal 50-60 damage.
So that's 50 right there, minimum. It applies two conditions so 40 damage is added. Now it would of dealt 90 damage, all armor ignoring. And then with deep wound, your target should go down almost instantly. If that's not enough, cracked armor will cause it to become priority and a wand will slay it.
And now, for a Foul Feast Plague Sending necromancer.
You swallow up all the conditions your enemies placed on you AND you deal armor ignoring spike damage!
Fragility is also insane with Anthem of Flame as well due to its spammability and short duration, there for making the burn spam more worth it.
Virulance is also a great choice, as it applies a huge variety of conditions at once.
In a coordinated team, Crystal Wave's armor ignoring damage and condition removal REALLY adds to the aoe spike from fragility and it synergizes very well with virulance.
Anyways, I really don't know what point I'm trying to prove, so I'll just conclude that I LOVE the new fragility.

The only reason why Frag seems nice is because one needs a mesmer hex to trigger CoP. If one could have used ANY kind of hex - nobody would be considering it.

"If CoP was even more OP..." ofc...
Being AOE, frag is now extemly versatile aswell as condition bombing support as cheap cover hex.

I like the buff. I switch Shrinking armor to Fragility in my Cry build. I play with Discordway and Fragility works perfect

Love is a bit strong for it but I do like the buff as I normally run a virulence/epidemic MM so this skill fits in nicely aswel now. (I normally run a condition-overloading team build)

This is a thread saying how great it is that Mesmers get another skill to fuel CoP with, because in reality, Fragility did not become that much better in a general sense anyways. Except, it's not just helpful to Mesmers; it's helpful to anyone, since CoP is easily used on non-Mesmers. And, ultimately, CoP is overpowered enough, so I doubt you'll be singin' about the greatness of Fragility if the nerf bat swings strong enough (assuming the nerf bat will swing).

Reading this thread makes me wonder if other mesmers even run builds that aren't Cry of Pain spam...
Anyway - yes, the Fragility buff is fine, until I run into Dreamroot Mandragors. Now they piss me off even more than they already did.

The only time I actually notice the Fragility buff is when fighting those damn EotN mandragors. Bastard things.
It's use still feels quite limited - a hex for CoP with a nice side-effect or a synergising (cover?) hex for Fevered Dreams.
It could I suppose, be used with Hypochondira and Epidemic too... but that feels quite clumsy.

The smarter Cry Monks are very happy, since their Ray of Judgments briefly inflict burning.
But of course, most roj monks are about as skilled as the now extinct Ursans, so it will probably still be awhile before Fragility makes it into their meta.

To me it will be stronger in RA a nice Necro [Virulence] Combo would keep people on there toes trying to remove all those conditions just to gethit with them again
I am tempted to make a hero team hexer with fevered dreams and a nice condition spamming character and earth tank with Crystal Wave.
