It's useful if you just generally have to get the heck out of dodge, too - a couple of sacrificial Assassins can make an effective rearguard for a retreating party.

You listed this

Fast Casting and Domination Magic are runed at +3 with a
+1 domination mask.

Skills used are:

Empathy (used on melee and casters alike, just a great added DPS)

Energy Burn (a DD used for the dead moments when other skills are on cooldown)

Backfire (used for casters... a wicked damage dealer)

Ether Feast (for some of those hairy moments)

Power Spike (another anti-caster shutdown-damage spell.. to be used on priority spells. I.E. Meteor on hydra)

Filler Spell (I use Mind Wrack)

Chaos Storm (used when both DDs are used and mobs are almost dead.. most likely not used if you dont have 3+ mobs)

*Elite Skill* (not required) Energy Surge (another DD and AoE for used just like Energy Burn)

Try this

Fast Casting +1 Inspiration +1 and Domination Magic are runed at +1 or +2 or +3 with a
+1 domination mask. (does note make too much a difference to be honest I usually run +3 but it lowers your health and turns you into a target more often

Energy Burn (a DD used for the dead moments when other skills are on cooldown) remove and add Wastrels’ Worry is UBER in Prophecies Boss killing Spam able skill

Backfire (used for casters... a wicked damage dealer)

Ether Feast (for some of those hairy moments)

Power Spike Up to you this is a great skill but you need some energy look at Power Drain

Drain Enchantment (heal and energy) (cycle your targets and you should find one with an enchantment to rip off)

Cry of Pain Honest Fun – And I am sure when the enemy casts it on you it peeves you off… right… well return the favor

*Elite Skill* Energy Surge

The mandragor-in-a-can condition spreader has been talked about in here as one of the few good bars left for a mes already. Tho the rest of the team is less than excellent but good enough. But the mes bar is top quality(or with extend conditions depending)

Same comment as before:
Mesmer build is decent (for a mesmer) and well established.
Ranger build stinks.
