This can also be done with an ele, but what would be the benifit/disadvantages of and ele verses a mesmer?

disadvantages=only 12 on illusion which means less dmg....
the only benefit would be geomancers armour which isn't necessary.

This is truly amazing. I just thought I'd repost, since I saw you added the Smites. I think you have just pretty much solo changed my entire guild's opinion on mesmers

ive been trying this on my ele (works better for defense but worse for dmg) and its very good! thanks for sharing it with us.

However the actual dps on the ele is better because you don't have to spend as much time re-casting due to the long enchantments.

i would advise to take a mesmer because 11 in earth is enough for your AC as well in UW.

well you have to hold kinetic armor up, so you've got to cast anything anyway

awsome build man im gonna go out and buy a 20% enchant scythe and re-rune my 55 mesmers armor, those days were good with Avarre's build but i just cant beat graspings anymore

that'S why this thread is called SOLO mesmer not FARMING mesmer :P
but anyway: the uw build is gr8 for profit... i get ~3 ektos per run

I could't explain this better. B4 the nerf i used stone daggers but now i'm fine with ash blast......

I thought I was the only one(or at least one of few) that was farming UW with a mesmer before reading this. Very nice. I farm UW W/Rt style by only killing graspings and smites:

IW
Sliver Armor
Mantra of Earth
Stone Striker
Stoneflesh Aura
SV
AV
Storm Sjinn's Haste

Illusion: 16(+4)
Inspiration: 8(+3)
Earth: 11
Air: 4

Faster then W/Rt, but safer than E/Me.

Nice to see more people using mesmers! I'll defenitely try some of your builds. Thanks for posting.

My original Build was very similar xD
I used illusion of haste and eather feast insted of sjinns and mantra of earth.
then i found out that you can tank the aatxes quite easily

PS: im working on a fow build but i still need some time for it. I guess the WE might help
