Hi, I am a Mesmer/Necro and I can't seem to find any builds. All the PvX builds require EotN. The 1 game I don't have access to. I asked my guild and a few in the game if they knew any builds, but most the replies were ''I hate mesmers'' ... So I need help with a build. I strongly perfer domination magic. My build right now is.

1. Conjure Illusions
2. Empathy
3. Backfire
4. Shatter Hex
5. Ether Feast
6. Energy Tap
7. Drain Enchantment
8. ressurrect siggy

I fail with builds. Anyone have any good ones they can share with me. This is what I been using b/c of #1 with quick spam of #4. #2 keeps melees off me. #4 takes out monks. #5 keeps my health up. #6 is my energy management. #7 is to keep monks off a pest. and #8 was to res when my team gets wiped. It seems very versitile to me, but all in all I think there could be better.

20% recharge
20% mesmer casting time
+60 HP

This is for PvE. I thought Campfire was for PvE and Gladiators Arena was for PvP threads so I assumed. My specs is all domination and Inspiration with what is left in fast casting. I am looking for a better build. I was thinking about trying to make a wymstrals worry build or however you spell it.

It all depends on what you want to do, there are many solid domination builds out there that don't depend on EoTN.

Arcane echo
Empathy
Shatter hex
Auspicious Incantation
Optional
Res Sig

12 Dom
8 FC
10 Inspiration

Copy VoR and apply it to mobs, follow with CoP. If there are any stragglers in the group hit them with empathy. After 10 seconds, use the second VoR. Auspicious is used with either shatter hex, the copied VoR, or archane echo. Optional could either be more hex removal or enchant removal, depending on your playstyle.

You're going to have to be much more specific about your playstyle if you want us to help you.

As for my play style I used to play main ranger with -8 degen build. I love degens, but I figure a mesmer is for taking out healers. So I wanted to go domination to take out monks. I don't rush into fights if that helps any on play style. I like to stand back.I just want to shut down a group as fast as possible and let my heros/henchies take out the stragglers. Mesmers seem much more strategic then most classes and I want to be helpful in groups and not be the person they are always protecting. I know mesmer probably isn't my style, but I wanted to be unique with making my title hunter instead of using a Rit or a Warrior.

the Visions of Regret looks good, but looks like I cant unlock ''Cry of Pain'' until I reach nightfalls and unlock it since u can't with balthazar. Is there a replace me for it?

You can unlock it about 5 minutes after getting into nightfall. Are you level 20 and where are you up too? Also what elites do you have access to? VoR is nice, but another build I like to run for a change of pace is FC Spiteful Spirit. But wihtout knowing, where, what you have, etc its difficult to say.

For general NM PvE i still havent had the need for faster casting, so i have nothing in Fast Casting.

Inspiration 10+2

For my location I am still on the island in Nightfalls.I honestly was just farming hard mode and got Legendary Survivor since my mesmer will be my title hunter to be unique. So I haven't even made it to haven yet.

Umm...why the heck are you forgoing fast casting for one arguably useless skill (conjure phantasm)?

For a build, just search for "suppressed dreams" in this forum, and you should find it (too lazy to get the data for the build right now). It should be devoid of EotN skills, but should do very nicely for you idea of sitting back and shutting down the enemy healer/backline (this particular build does it with aoe daze, along with some other conditions).

If you want interrupts go with physic instability as an elite, I'll post a sample bar when I get the time.

Since you don't have eotn, you're going to want to look at the curses line.

If you want an AoE damage skill that interrupts go with mistrust, just keep in mind that it is only useful against casters and will hurt your overall dps if you put it on a meele or ranged type.

If you want to spam necrosis, I'd reccomend switching out edrain for lyssa's aura, you'll get more bang for your buck.

Ah, that be it. I still run that build for when I feel like being a mindless spammer (read: when I'm tired).
