E-surge builds
So I decided with the buff to FC and E-surge, making the spell's recharge close to 10 seconds, I would try to make a strait up damage build for my mesmer centered around the elite. However, I keep testing different skills, and I can't seem to find the exact combination of skills that I really want. Here is what I currently have:
E-Surge
Wastrel's Demise
Shatter delusions (for WD and for shattering mind wrack when enemy is almost dead)
Spiritual pain (i dont know about this one... its mainly there for activating mind wrack)
Chaos storm (good AoE damage in combination with E-surge)
Mind Wrack
Pdrain
Drain Enchantment
So what do you guys use for an E-surge build or how can I improve my own? I think my biggest questions right now are
1. Should I include arcane echo for e-surge?
2. Should I bother with mind wrack now that overload is nerfed and the most spammable skill to use with it is spiritual pain.
Iv tried a varient using arcane echo for e-surge and using e-burn but I found that against physical monsters, they were running out of energy too soon thus limiting damage from the skills. would aneurism be a good option along with e-burn and two copies of e-surge?
I also dont know if the damage from mind wrack is worth keeping mind wrack in the build. Is it worth it to use Mind wrack + Shatter and to drop wastrel's demise altogether (i only use wastrel's for the extra damage on top of shatter hex and to activate shatter).
Finally, what do you guys think about including chaos storm in an E-surge build.
As you all can see, I have many concerns about my build, so any and all critisim and improvements are welcome.

Energy is no real problem with them all been 5 e casts except cop and arc echo.
Gold could prob be swapped out for drain delusions..lots aoe and funsies
optimal? not yet

Unnatural Signet is great.
Gole is bad, use Drain Delusions.
Keystone is boring and weak build that takes a lot of skill just to be mediocre, in ideal circumstances.

Ditch spiritual pain for arcane echo, and either pdrain or drain enchant for auspicious inantation.

Just be very careful with aneurism that you don't give monsters that do big damage their energy back, use it as a finisher.

I use WW and Cop before I shatter, you have to wait for aftercasts on monsters to ensure you have time for Cop though.

Well the signet mesmer looked good on paper, but if that's no good, then you could always run a generic domination bar and just sub [[Energy Surge] in as the elite.

- [[Ether Nightmare] - more AoE damage.
- [[Intensity] - to further increase your damage.
- [[Deep [email protected]] - for use with Auspicious Incantation.
- [[Shatter [email protected]] - for more AoE damage.
- [[Unnatural [email protected]] - for more AoE damage.
- [[Flesh of my [email protected]] / [[Resurrection [email protected]] - enables rapid resurrection due to fast casting.
