Mesmer+2 Mesmer Heros
I was curious if anyone has tried to fit 3 mesmer builds in one team and if its worth it or not? I've been running Panic and then PI on Gwen but now since I've finished Night Fall and got Norgu I would try three mesmers.

Hey Mesmers,
actually it is a nice idea. In my opinion Panic + Ineptitude synergize pretty good together. Casters and Melee are due to these skills kind of useless. However, i dont know how good the AI manage these skills. In concern of the human player, perharps try an AP + EVAS spammer.

What's EVAS? I also had an idea for trying an AP for me then Panic & PI because if I have an AP build I'd prob have YMLAD! + Epidemic which would slow melee down atleast.
PI on a mesmer hero is just too good to pass up.

Yeah, but only if the foes are well situated. Perharps we should add Tryptophan Signet to the build. Could be helpful.

IMO running AP defeats the purpose of running a specific profession. Panic is a must....Ineptitude is pretty nice......PI....I can't get my heros to use this skill properly....Shared Burden rocks as well. Only problem with running 3 mesmers on the same team is that a lot of their skills don't synergize well. I.E.....for Inept to trigger it needs not be blocked by Panic.

Yeah u r right. The benefit of a Me with AP and AE is that you can spam more EVAS. However you can also run a solid Energy Surge build.
I dont think that Panic blocks Inept. I just made a test in the Charr Homelands. It worked quite nice because the casters stayed at range and the melee seperated themselves by running to attack us. Dont beeing able to use skills do not avert the attacking or does it?

Heroes use panic well...and use ineptitude terribly. However b-surge ele+panic mes+psychic instability mes is probably not a bad idea.

I'm not sure what the last ? was asking. Panic will only trigger on skills, so a reg attack won't trigger it, but a non-skill attack will trigger Inept. So yeah I reckon it would work.

A panic hero plus a shared burden hero works well (or at least as well as running multiple hero mesmers can be). If I want to play a panic build on my player character, ill turn my dom mesmer into an e-surge one. If i want to play shared burden on my player character, ill run ineptitude on the illusion hero. Slot in a minion bomber hero and you're all set.

Shared Burden and Ineptitude? Doesn't that kind of fight against itself? I mean you want them to be coming up to you and attacking for ineptitude to hurt them and shut them down.
I don't know because I don't use shared burden.

Well i rarely run shared burden on my player character so im rarely in a position where my team has both shared burden and ineptitude on it. However, the negative synergy isnt really all that bad since Ineptitude's range isn't very large and shared burden also lowers their speed and casting times.

Wait I thought you said you were running them both together? Well if that's not the case then I'm sorry.

I'm thinking that right now the strongest option might be Panic+PI+Wastrel's spam.

There is nothing wrong with AP+AE+EVAS, it still has the highest DPS of all the mesmer builds listed here.
I prefer stolen speed to shared burden, helps your caster team.

I've been doing Sepulchre of Dragrimmar with my mesmer heroes + henchies with great success. I like to run Stolen speed, for as Daesu mentioned, it helps the other casters aswell.
This setup is probably not as good in areas with a lot of melee, but in Sepulchre almost every foe is a caster. With this team setup I don't really worry about overaggroing either, only the Djinns pose a threat as they have banishing strike. Only micro I need is to get Xandra to put Shelter a bit behind the next group and use Armor of Unfeeling. Rest is just spamming skills.
As for henchmen, I always bring Eve only for Blood Ritual, which speed things up a bit. I also use Devona so I have someone to Shatter Hex on, and she does a marvelous job on the final boss.

ehm, I am bit confused now.
If you cast panic on a caster, whenever that foe uses a skill, all nearby foes are interrupted, even their regular attack, therefore they will not trigger Ineptitude.
Or am I wrong?

lol I got confused for a min as well....if aggro is balled...then yeah i guess it could block...then again inept is aoe as well, so chances r at least one attack will get past panic to trigger inept. idk kind of bamboozled atm

How about putting a fevered dreams mesmer in there, mes/ele with blind, ymlad, finish him and possibly cracked armor? possibly instead of the ineptitude mes.
Saying that though, is it really worthwhile having both panic and pi in the same team build been that the end effect of both skills is the same?... I think what I'm trying to say is I cant think of a build which would make more than 2 mesmers useful.
Shared Burden, Panic and Fevered Dreams?
