Mesmer GWAMM/Survivor
Okay, although Mesmer is my favorite class, I havent run one through PvE in a lonnnnnnnng time. About 4 years, actually... Anyway, I just wanted to know if theres any hints/tricks you guys have done on your LS's that are different than say just punchout? I may do punchout til indomitable, or I may change my mind and just play through the games. Only problem at the moment is I don't have NF on that account >.> so it won't quite be GWAMM but it'll hopefully be close. I know different classes do better at different parts of the game, I was just wondering if you guys had any tips? ^_^ I have everything but NF. Hoping to get that before Christmas.

If you have a ton of money you can just buy Hammers of Kathandarax and keep turning them in for the Kathandrax's Crusher quest for an easy 7.5k xp a pop. That will require a bit of money though.

cap 400 skeletons during Halloween with an established character. Put said capped skeletons in storage.
Make a new character, any profession, run to LA.
Do first two Halloween quest, where deaths don't count.
Pay 50g, open storage. Take 400 capped skeletons to LA. Turn in quest until level 3 survivor achieved. (Switch district between getting quests/reward)
Sell the 3300 ToT bags you will get and use the 133,333 gold you earn to buy more titles.
Get paid (lots) for making a survivor.
Proof it works. Survivor in 3:33
Notice that the pre-searing bar is still intact
oh yeah Halloween is over, maybe next year

Hmmm... Nope, pretty broke at the moment ^.^ Also, starting in proph. I guess probably just do all the quests along the way for skills and then repeat punchout? Run to EotN to get max armor then questing/missions for xp... Hmm. Trying to remember what I did last time lol.
lol, carbo. Thanks for the hint :P I was thinking stay in presear til about lvl 8, come to post, do all the quests. Does capping skills get you the best xp at smaller levels or higher? I forget >_<

If you're not in a hurry you can wait until Wintersday. The quests that takes place in the snowman dungeon (which i cant recall the name of atm) or the quest "snowball dominance" have decent EXP rewards with minimal chance of death.

This is what I did with my mesmer to get her LS pretty fast.
1. Create.
2. Level to a decent level without dying.
3. Go to EoTN.
4. Box your way to lvl 20.
5. Get max armor.
6. Get a run to Longeye's Ledge.
7. Farm Vaettirs with a Triple XP scroll. Took about 2.30-3 hours for me to get LS. Used this build: OQdVAOBOQf8ZiHRnBJ4AaR8mSGwEAA
Just keep your defensive skills and Channeling up all the time, switch through the enemies as you hit them with the Wastrel's Skills. Maybe there are better builds you could use, just put this together pretty fast and it worked pretty good imo.
Armor was with Sentry Insignia( Traders were out of Blessed, but guess they will work too) and Attunement Runes. Weapon +20% Ench and Shield +10 Earth ( "like a rolling stone"-insc).
8. Party!
Pretty easy if you ask me!
Note: you CAN die while farming the Vaettirs, it may not be as safe as Boxing or Kath Hammers, but it sure is fast!

I made it about halfway through factions and nightfall doing mission and quests along the way. After that I killed the worms and pinesouls outside boreal station with a triple exp scroll. 924 exp each avg 15K per run. Took me ~8 hours to get it (I did run through a bunch of quests and missions as well but the exp from them is minimal). There were a couple of close calls but overall fairly simple and an easy title to get. Now getting legendary GWAMM that is impressive (I have seen one screenshot of it)

meh, this is a lot of effort but looks pretty much fool proof. when i got Survivor on my necro i just got it accended, got it to lvl 20, then went to UW pre nerf and Fow, get Quest rewards at end = survivor in a few runs plus the fact you have done them for HoM and drops etc. as long as it is a competant group its win win. ps, dont try this with pugs

From the given options, FoW worked amazingly for me, it gives me the ability to get used to playing the char I just made and 100k xp for quest, imagine with all the killing and the scrolls (burning forest and spidercave ftw.) UW isn't that survivor-friendly imo.
and small tips:
Factions is quite easy (also to get masters on missions) and most quest, especially early on give alot of xp.
Do augery rock BEFORE the hunted (nf) and closer to the stars (factions) because assending in proph hands you a free 50k xp.
Always take books, every campain has books and they are pretty much free xp, prophecies is imo easiest and gives the most, I wouldn't 'farm' the books, but if you want to finish the campain anyways.
I tend to avoid any missions and quests involving wurms.... (if you get NF)
when you are not familiar with random pve places, try to ask or check for 1 hit KO's or amazingly strong bosses (example the devourer boss during the quests between warband of brothers and assault on stronghold)

Buy Ritulist Elite tome select SOS and let the arse whooping begin. If my mesmer still had a chance for this (lost many it many moons ago) I would find some areas that has minimal groups (smaller sizes) and Hard mode solo farm.
I do have a rit that is on level 2 I have finished all missions all campaings including EOTN I have the final battle for LA left, but holding off on it becuase I am not sure if I can do it solo. Anyway Communion spirit spam for the win works too. With a hero Memser SOS pooper.

Even if you buy them for 3k, it's 500K. Since you get 1.5K as the quest reward, that's halved (250K). 250K to not worry about dying is a pretty cheap investment.
If you buy them for 2K then it's technically 89K total, which is cheaper than any rank of sweet tooth or party animal and counts for 1 statue towards HoM.
However, I would do the Halloween thing, since it doesn't require any money at all.

Was going to say the same thing... But he doesn't have NF so Deadly paradox is out.
