I finally took my LDoA Mes out of presearing to play. I'm no expert in playing caster roll, I play mostly as melee. Anyways I have a very long and good run with my mes/bip team heros. I'm very anti Ai melee so without a good front runner I'll probably wouldn't run those traditional esurge/inpt/PI/SB/Panic any better then heros.
I'm looking to run a fun bar that Ai can't possibly run. Below is my team setup. The mes/bip/sos/SoGM is off what i usually run, and they have no issue. Ele and MM is something new i bring to the team. MM probably is a must because I need for blocker but Ele is something i throw in for now.
For my bar Arcane Mimicry would be used for Golem. Once i have a golem it would copy esurge if energy is good. Echo would be echo EVAS, or even echo off another esurge. As for Boom and Growth is to get some free AoE damage and free HP/E
For mes player please let me know if there better option or some other funner bar.
P.s I know about the 2x echo in my Dom hero, and i know they eat up energy and the chance of copying a nothing (2 signet). I ran enough test to know what the chance of those odd (chance of get 4x esurge, CoF is more then what most ppl might think), which I can live with. And yes they do have enough energy to manage the entire bar before getting bip (offhand 15/-1 @ 62 Max E). Not going to go over them so, let just keep to my bar and other support.

AP Mesmer is superior relatively speaking. Boon of Creation and Explosive Growth are a nice gimmick, but you don't need the energy from boon and Explosive Growth very weak when you only cast EVAS a few times at best. The long recharges kill your damage. With AP, you can spec into dom or illusion and spam away. For another alternative, you can use Echo and Wandering Eye as wandering eye is completely broken to spam. For an MM bar, shambling horror has too long a recharge by itself, bone horrors work better. You don't need botm if you already have Blood Bond conveniently stuck on the bip. Heroes don't use arcane echo well. Both bars need wandering eye, mistrust, and cof to pump damage and really make use of bip. The mesmers will not run out of energy. Shatter delusions works well on the bar, but you don't have anything to fuel it. Drop well of blood on the bip healer, it just steals corpses from the mm and isn't useful when you have enough party healing. Your sos rit needs spirit siphon, you can drop splinter weapon as a caster. Drop earthbind, that spot should be used for utility. Earth eles are useless in general. unsteady ground is weak for antimelee when you have ST rit, enfeebling, illusions mesmers, and other melee hate. Aftershock and grasping are completely useless and fillers from my guess. eruption is also weak because of the long recharge. I should suggest running more damage in the slot, because running n/p command doesn't fit in the build. Run a mesmer if you get around to it. Otherwise run EA or SF ele with command, they can manage energy thanks to bip. But hey, if you like running UG, I won't hold it against you.

+1 on echo Wandering Eye as i havent got the asuran summon yet so replace with wandering eye and it was quite nice.
+1 with well of blood, haven't ran with MM for long time didn't even catch that part. Will take it off.
+ on boom and growth, I just got evas and ran some test the casting rate is slower then i thought. Will drop rit as second and take maybe an ele.
Wandering eye and Mistrust on mes heros, yes their good skill but their also passive skill. Especially with my ill at so low level i see wandering eye more of a skill for shut down + extra damage then damage. I want them to spam more esurge and CoF. Regardless I do agree with you they should take it if arcane echo wasn't there. But let not go with hero echoing skill as i explained.
SoS with Spirit siphon i been monitoring his energy level closely as of now he still ok. Usually with my melee he isn't a big issue but maybe a caster team we take more damage overall, will keep a closer eye when i unlock harder area. As for spliter weapon wouldn't they help with MM (i dont know havent ran them for ages)
Unsteady ground, I have no idea how much damage it cause but agree not as much as SF/fireball/rodgort. SF was my first choice too because of the low charge time it also give me a chance to spam myself with arcane miscry + SoI. I was playing a little more defensive when i put this elite in to work along with earthbind. Thinking without a front runner at least KD + snore + blind can take off some pressure off. I always like more offensive is better then more defensive myself, this team is definitively so what off what i use to. Will run more testing on harder area and slowly replace defensive skill for offensive.
AP or SoI, I guess as of now i have no choice because i just go this toon of presearing my ebon title is 0.

I've always been disappointed with Explosive Growth's damage and only considered using in an AP Rt/A build where you can spam Ebon sins moar.
