i was goin around last night in random comp arena farming faction and the defualt bow attacks + prep + conjure was 25-40 (bow) + 15-20 (prep) + 15-20 (conjure) grant it this was vs casters but hey not bad for default damage on warriors it was only 1/3 as much but being set on fire while hitting them with poison arrow was fun in deleting their health with a good degen chunk as for storm chaser i removed it and put in throw dirt so i could just stand there spamming bow attacks on a "rodgorted" ranger or warrior

Those numers are a bit high. Conjure at level 12 only adds 13. The bow will only do 15-28 unless you buff it with arrow attack skills, of which you have none. Considering your skills are strectched thin, I dont think kindle will do 15 either. Rodgort will be where you damage is at.

Rodgort doesn't do all that much damage on its own but is a nice addition to your already decent damage. Depending on your duration of Rodgort, say around 16 seconds you probably can't keep them burning the whole time. They could run or put up a defense or something. So of that 16 seconds if they are burning for 10 seconds of that, that is 140 damage in 10 seconds, nothing spectactular, but pretty good degen. Would Tigers Fury be more effective instead of Rodgort? With 4 points in BM you could keep Tigers Fury up you can shoot 33% quicker so thats 2-3 more arrows every 10 seconds and is more spammable than Rodgort.

Tiger's Fury may be better than Rodgort's because of the 15 energy difference and the 33% faster attack rate, but with low BM it's not that great. Also Rodgort's burns so I guess it depends on what kind of build you like. Either way, it's a great build.

I think the entire theme of his build is to stack on the degen that fire and poison give. I'm not sure about not wasting energy, but if you only want to use your poison arrow on 1 target, then it ruins the point of it being an elite.

If your going to be a R/ Anything the point of it is to Lay on a few hexes (or Nukes in this case) and then sit back and Marksmanship Wager and spam hunters shot and penetrating shot 1 after the other... if your cust casting with your ranger primary then why sacrifice the low energy and just go E/ Primary anyways?

Because 60 armor is inferior to rangers' higher armor class, and because 6 extra energy (3 points in expertise transfered to storage) hardly benefits him, because, like he said, energy is not an issue. I however, find that hard to believe.

ive tried switching it up to 10 fire and putting beast points in and used kindle/conure + tigers fury and rodgorts and it looks almost the same.....the only thing is that the enemy is set on fire for 2 seconds as opposed to 3 with the 12 in fire

I guess you could try and use both, but i was trying to decide which of the two would be more beneficial..tigers fury, which could be used more often throughout a duel or Rodgort, which can take down your first target really fast.
