W/Elem. is not too good
Well you guys, I finally tried out the W/Elem. build. It proved to be not too good. Seems like there is a mana shortage for the elementalist half because of the warrior primary. So I must continue my search for a good secondary for my warrior. I will always be a warrior before anything. Anyone with any good ideas as to what I can couple my warrior with (BESIDES MONK ), please let me know. I will try out just about anything that people suggest to me. Thanks in advance!

Perhaps we can help you better if you tell us what skills you are using??
W/E are extremely powerful with their high DPS (w/ Conjure). Remember, you are a warrior, so you don't want to cast spells all the time. And getting gladiator armor is probably a bit better with a larger initial energy pool.

Regardless of the secondary you pick to go with warrior, you are going to have an abysmal mana pool. The only practical ways to increase past 20 is to have gladiator armor and/or a focus of some sort.
THe key to using your secondary skillset is that to compliment or bolster your warrior skills.
For my W/El, I use primarily fire with a bit of earth thrown in for PvE. Conjure flame last a bit and tacks on a nice bonus to my dragon sword when I'm close up, or to my fire wand if I'm fighting at any distance at all.. Armor of Earth gives a nice bonus AL for 30 seconds. I usually get those 2 cooking then when I'm up close and personal with something I kick off inferno and or eruption .. and as I'm swinging away start making use of my warrior skills like gash and sever artery..
What it does suck on is self healing.. I need my medic for that so I don't go totally solo very often and usually go out with a healer of some sort.. be it a guildmate or poor Alesia

For some reason I laughed at the image that brought to mind...
"After the mightly hulking warrior delivers the final blow with his flaming sword to his enemy, he scans the area for the next victim. Ah! there in the distance. With a shout proclaiming his animalistic joy of the battle, he reaches into his backpack and pulls out a..... wand? and proceeds to shoot sparking balls of fire at the enemy."

Yeah, the mana pool size is not a problem for a W/C ("C" being the caster class of your choice). A W/C ought to be running around with a 35-40 mana pool, not too many points behind your typical caster (Elementalists excepted, of course). You can even find a focus with an armor boost as well as the usual energy boost, not as big a boost as a shield would give you, but good enough.
What sucks for the W/C is the mana regen rate. That will lead to mana shortage problems in a longer battle unless you have some means of dealing with it. The classic is, of course, the Zealous upgrade on your weapon, but there are also a number of skills you can try, e.g. hit Bonetti's Defense when you're running low on mana, or Victory is Mine, or Flourish.

A W/E would mainly be good for elemental damage on your melee weapon and a few Ele enchantments to boost that damage or give yourself some resistance to other elemental attacks. Trust me on this one, you see me in the arena and I'm facing you as a warrior and you have no prepared back up, I suggest you run. Fast.

I'm building a Warrior/Necro with the main line of thought being: tank for the PvE team. With Necro I can raise minions which add extra tankage... at least, that's the theory, I just started it.

LoL... It's not quite that bad. I usually use the wand either at the beginning before I engage into close-up fighting or there isn't an option to fight things hand-to-hand. I also have the wand matched up with the focus I use. I usually equip that if I'm going to use Meteor Storm and Fire Storm back to back.
One nice thing about that wand is that when I hit with it, it actually charges up my adrenalin, so I can go up close ready for action on that front.

Good W/E combos:
~~Earth~~
1. Warrior hammer skills + Aftershock (only 10 energy) - Knock them down with the hammer then follow with a quick Aftershock for mega dmg while they are knocked down.
2. Ward Against Melee (only 10 energy) - Cast this before you start swinging to make your opponents miss you 50% of the time.
3. Armor of Earth - increase your armor but at a price of speed.
~~Water~~
1. Armor of Mist - increase your armor *and* move 33% faster! w00t!
2. Blurred Vision (15 energy), causes target and nearby foes to miss 50% of the time - great when the surround you.
Good luck!

Dont forget Mist Form (Elite), which makes you invincible for a small ammount of time, just enough to have the monk heal you in critical moments.

Mist Form for a warrior is kinda silly....since you won't be able to deal damage with your favourite-uber sword/axe/hammer.
I'd just take Sprint and run away from the mob.
In general, any skills that cost > 15e is not a good choice for a warrior primary because of your low recharge rate. If you want to bring it....you better have a really damn good combo to go along with it. Remember...some of the useful warrior skills need energy too.

I always use glyph of lesser energy for my W/E. And a nice focus item comes in handy too.
