You should get aeromancer armor regardless of what skills you take.

Well, whatever armor u get doesnt matter, they all have small bonuses. I got the geomancers since i liked what it looked like. I liked them all so im planning to get them all once i have enough money. Its really the Eye that u get that matters

15 more AC is not really a small bonus.

either air or fire makes the most sense. those are the 2 elements you are going to want protection against since they are the 2 most common you will get hit with.

Aftershock is another thing that you will be hit often... so technically geomancer shoes is the choice...

Then again... it pretty much all depend on your monk anyway, so armor really didn't help that much in the end... if you really want armor, just get amor of earth and the sort.

As for lv8 making an ele build... well... you really don't need to worry about it too much until you are near lv20 and have gotten most of the ele skills, then by that time you should be able to make build for yourself with ease.

You are level 8 in Droknars? I didn't get out of Pre-sear till i was level 8. My how the game changes. How do u even have money for armor?

How about this. Play through the game yourself instead of having rushers do all the work for you. Complete some side quests so you can learn some skills. THEN, Read the thread dedicated to Elementalists in this forum and stop looking for f****** handouts.

Just cause you can toss a few GP around in game and have others do all the work for you doesn't mean it's gonna work here.

In the defense of DarkRagnorak. I'm sure this isn't his first character and has already played through and possibly finnished the game already. If this is his first character he wont have anywhere near the amount of money to buy the armour in the first place. I have supported people before should they want to rush to Droknors if it is their 2nd or even 3rd or 4th character

Obviously it's his first elementalist and if he hadn't rushed the game, we would already have a good grasp of skills and tactics that most elementalists are already using. You learn by doing.

What he's asking for is a special handout when he could just have easily visited the Builds thread and done a TINY bit of searching on his own for existing builds. Plain Lazy.

I didnt ask you what you thought of a lvl 8 in droknars, I orginally planned to do ascalon arena but the faction is wayyyyy to low so I continued the came with drok armor from Fort Ranik

ANyways I went with hydro and im level 20 now so nm

First of all, this was posted in the wrong Forum. The arcane reposistory is a skills discussion forum, not builds.
Secondly, this isn't even a build, it's an armor question. Read the forum descriptions, they're all displayed clearly. If you have a question, it belong in Q&A.
Finally, read the stickies- we are not here to design builds for you. We have some templates listed under elementalist basics and on the main page under build directory. There are many other threads on the same topic if you take the time to look for them.

At best, post a build that you are using or are considering using for review. That gives people an idea of what types of skills you're using, used to using, and give some idea of what you want to do with the build.

Otherwise, I'm not going to spend my time designing a build for everyone who comes here and asks, not even if they ask nicely. It's not a worthwhile effort to reward ratio, not when we already have the resources in place if you look for them.
