Ok, I did a search of a few forums but couldn’t find what I wanted… or maybe I did but didn’t understand.
Anyway, I wish to know if going ranger primary and Elementalist secondary is better for energy usage then Elementalist primary.
And if it isn’t better, by how much does it lose by? Because the armor of the ranger my still make me pick it.

I know that Elementalists have a bigger base and get it back a bit faster, but rangers use a lot less. so I was wondering what would be better in the long run.

Are you planning to use mostly ranger skills? Be a ranger primary. Or are you planning to use mostly elementalist spells? In that case, be an elementalist primary.

Rangers' Expertise only reduces the cost of non-spell skills, so if you want to cast elemental stuff it won't help at all. And Energy Storage provides a buffer against exhaustion*, letting you cast what are some of the best elementalist spells much more conveniently.

* By which I mean, more room for exhaustion to only take up empty space in your energy bar that you aren't using at the time anyway.
