i dunno, i guess i always do the
eq
as
crystal wave
obsidian flame
earth attune
ele attune
armour of earth
res sig



Exhaustion can get bad but if you have a decent group, your opponent is usually dead before it does

yeah, that's serious exhaustion.
against mesmers you're pretty much screwed, but ranger interrupt can be temporarily countered by Magnetic Aura.

Well, it is a very basic build.

So... it is hard to say how you want to improve it, unless you decide for a direction to go.

Directions to decide:
A:More dmg
B:More Steady
C:More Survival
D:More supportive
E:Others

How does Magnetic Aura counter Ranger interrupts?

It's only "Melee" that's blocked.

The one that blocks "Magical Projectiles" and "Arrows" is Swirling Aura.

works very nicely agaisnt warriors and some ppl that dont move. and energy managemet is good

u could use this build as it helps defend u against all attacks but it then limits ur attack
1.obflame
2.stoning
3.earthquake/eruption
4.stone daggers
5.ward melee
6.swirling aura
7.obflesh {elite}
8.res sig
u could change 1 of the skill for attunment but this will limit ur attack. with earthquake and eruption its really ur choice but if u have both earthquake and obflame exhaustion will be high (expect 0 mana within 3 min if not careful) as both are exhaustion spells. eruption is quite good as its aoe but will also blind anyone that is in it when it finishes. i chose melee as tho it is only 50% avoidence rather than 75% with magnetic it has a quicker recharge time so u can keep it up more often rather than once every so often. swirling aura is to be used if ur a target for rangers and cant get out of the way. it will help u to find cover or cast that all important spell. OB flesh is for spell and i highly recommend it just watch out when i knocks off. also watch out for the 50% reduction in speed it gives if u r been chased. also dont us ob flesh vry often, use it when an apponant is low on health then follow with stoning. if u use it to much u will have no mana when u dearly need it so switch to stone daggers for a little while after ob flame to recover from ur exhaustion or just switch to useing stoning as due to its recharge time u should be able to recover some mana.
