Arrow Best PvP/PvE build for Eles?

I wanna know what the best PvP/PvE build is for ele is it E/Me? or E/Mo?

Is it air , fire, earth, water?

what skills should i use? where should my stats be?..and also...i want it to be decent in PvE also....i dont care if it isnt the best in PvP....but i want the build to be good in PvP and PvE

i just want a great all aound character

One that complements his/her teammates the best, that takes advantage of other team member's strengths, builds upon them and can cover their weakness's or a gap in skills need to make the team work smoothly.

Basically, post an idea, anything will do, as to HOW you want your character to PvP. Defensive, AoE, Spike, Support Healer, Anti-XX.

Elementalists have a very BROAD range as far as roles they can play do to the massive energy pool they have at their disposal.

Bring a build or a build idea and we can help, just ask for the 1337357!! build possible and you will get ignored alot.

lol sorry...uhmm... i wanted one who can spike and do AoE....i want some one who will be usefull in GvG and when im doing missions or quests...ok

Right now i have

Flare
Fireball
Meteor shower
Rodgorts Invocation
Energy Tap
Fire Attunement
Elemental Attunement
Res signet

i commonly run out of energy...is there a better skill than energy tap to get energy?...well fire attunement and elemental attunement help alot in the energy department..

I wear 15k Hydromancer...i ahve a flames eye with sup fire rune..
i have rune of minor es...and i have sup vigor in my armor...i am pretty pleased but many people say that flame eles are bad now and they suck in gvg...so i can just go buy some other skills to help oiut my pvp area...

Well, the only AoE spike I can think of would be something like Incindery Bonds ->Fireball

How in the world do you run out of energy while using Dual Atunements? I'd actualy go as far as to suggest you drop Energy Tap for another attack spell, or Aura of Restoration, or *gasp* a res.

The great thing about the game is that swaping attributes and skills are so easy. There is no need to have such an all-around build. PvE and PvP are so very differnet.

hmm....yeah ur right...well by what i have right now? what should i change for my PvE build and what should i change for PvP...hmm ur right about the attunemmnets..the reason i run out is cuz i dont have them constantly on...the elemental attunement only lasts 45 seconds =/

For pvp the best is a Echo-AoE/fire build, or one of my favroite builds with some suppoert blood magic skills and hyrdo slowdown. Not that much for dmg but for slow down in relics runs and at the same time a bit of a nrg support, those kinda builds are kinda hard too play for some1 new.
Geo ele is also good for support and dmg, but it's not as easy as fire.

For pve i can only say Echo fire, or maybe air in some cases.

Some of the best PvP builds are generally lightning/earth. Some generally strong PvE are fire/energy storage, echo nukers. There are plenty of post on
both builds.

Fire, Energy Storage, healing, and a bit in Earth magic is good. Some fire skills. Energy Storage for energy and Healing for Mending. The Earth Magic to keep up Armor of Earth and Kinetic armor.

That's pretty broad. For straight damage, an air build might be best. If you wanted to spike and do a bit of AoE, earth would be best. Water is more of a support line, with a fair few snares and hexes.
I'm not too keen on fire; but it has some excellent AoE spells; it's generally less effective in GvG because of the larger spaces, but they all have their place in a right build. In tombs, fire eles fare better, because of the tight spaces, altars and relics that the enemy has to get to.
Be careful though, there's no one all-round build for an ele.

Usually damage eles are E/Me, and usually take 16 in either air, earth or fire-if you wish to spike, 16 is pretty much what you need to have. You definitely need to take either Glyph of Concentration or Mantra of Resolve to play a damage ele in 8v8.

This would be a suggestion for a single air spiker, for example:

Lightning Strike
Lightning Orb
Enervating Charge
Mind Shock [E]
Drain Enchantment
Mantra of Resolve
Air Attunement
Res Sig

If there were two or more air eles, I'd suggest Chain instead of Mind Shock, and Ether Prodigy/Elemental Attunement for energy management.

Eles are very flexible, I suggest you play around with builds, and above all, don't presume that because one works well in PvE/tombs/Arena/GvG, that it will work well elsewhere.

For PvE or Arenas, for example, some selfheals would be advisable, but ditch them in 8v8.
