Some of you may recognize the words "eternal knockdown" from the warrior threads
yes, i am still interested in making this happen

my initial thought was a hammer kd warrior but it...didnt work out great...
so i am now turning my attention to my elementalist and the spell thunderclap to make this happen
The theory behind this build is rather simple
when the enemy is knocked down they cannot attack or do squat therefor you win

so you keep the 8 enemies knocked down at all times (or so the theory goes)
the problem with thunderclap is that you lose like 7 energy every time they get knocked down
a knockdown is 2 seconds so you lose 7 energy every 2 seconds if you hit them with lightning dmg every 2 seconds so that they are eternally knocked down
e/me with channeling and also that beautiful skill glyph of ele power will help go from 7 to 5 (thx guildwiki)

so with that here is what i got so far:
thunderclap
glyph of ele power
channeling
lightning strike
lightning javelin
enervating charge
air attune
res sig

i doubt this would work like this but that is why this guild is posted on gw guru , for your help

in final conclusion i need help to gain energy eficiently (5 energy per 2 seconds)

Dude.. An eternal knockdown is easy.. Gale and Whirlwind with echo/arcane echo... (But thats only to 1 target)

I'll try this build out sometime though.

What about..

7 Ele's with

Arcane Mimicry
Arcane echo
Thunderclap

And one with

Arcane Mimicry
Arcane echo
Ether Prodigy

Problem would be... you need to kill them in 40 seconds

But you can use ether prodigy for your energy problems- I don't know of any spell that gives more energy. Together with channeling, this should give you enough energy.

A shortbow have the attack speed to keep them knocked down all the time, untill TC ends.
.. But you also need to consider cover hexing.

(Remember the old TC Rangers? That owned ;D)

A candy cane bow works for this, no req, 15-15 dmg
