for pvp, i love switching between air and earth... air for spiking and knockdowns and earth for its great defense and obsidian flesh/flame
but for pve fire has to be the best by far because the crazy amount of AoE spells

E/Me (Water Magic & Inspiration Magic)
Got to love Water Magic combined with Inspiration Magic. Blur Vision (50% miss) and Spirit of Failure (25% miss, 1-5 Energy when they miss) gives you a steady Energy income. Add Energy Tap/Energy Drain to that... And don't forget the rest of the nice Enchantments and Hexes!

Air and earth are pretty sweet... My ele is running air right now and i love it, the fact that i can keep a near constant barrage of spells without running out of energy rocks so much. Earth is fun i wana try earth sometime... so i can open up the ground under me foes feet and literly send them to there graves. lol btw anyone have an air staff....

we think so alike
we should name these elements and demand they are introduced in factions!

1st: earth, 2nd: air, 3rd: fire, 4th: water
thats for PVP, for PVE i am fire because thats the most efective against NPCs. PVP requires alot more strategy. I have 3 PVP chars, 1 for air, for fire, and 1 for earth.

PvE: Pyro. echo nuking plus elemental and fire attunement is a beautiful thing.
PvP: Aero. Fast and relentless combos make me giggle at my compy
P.S. lol, speaking of aero combos....My fav would have to be blinding flash + /taunt. good times farmin the faction...good times :P

1.Water Ele are very original elementalists able to slow down and almost stop warriors and other player runnigng away from warriors which is a crucial factor in a battle where you're maneuvering to hit in either melee or range.
Most of their spells are also hexs which makes a Hydromancer/Curse Necros a particularly deadly combination.
(A Curse necro also possesses 'Spinal shivers' which can only truly be appreciated if you play a class that can easilly deal water/cold damage)
Anyone who actually plays a Water Ele has to be crafty and inventive to make a build that actually works, but when they do create a good one they are not easilly countered because there are so few Water Eles out there to actually gleen counter-tactics from.
2. Air Ele's ability to disrupt, penetrate armor, knock down and their skill's fast recharge time makes them not only versatile but dangerous if not brought down fast enough.
3. Earth Ele are Elementalist who can create wards, knock down, deal decent heavy damage and armor boosts even if they specialize in one element. An Earth Ele can be a very powerful supportive player that can survive melee very well and basically tip the battle with their wards in your party's favor.
4. Dull uninventive and repetitive is how I choose to describe a Pyromancer. It's basically a no-brainer Ele where you don't need to worry about tactics and just use any damaging skill against other players in an almost constantly repetitive patterns.
