Well now that I've played the game a bit, and have been around the block with a few times, its interesting to come back and reread my post.
I'm still using collectors armor, and have yet to change it; having bought droks armor for my warrior, ranger, monk and soon my necro, I still have yet to upgrade my ele armor. Personally I just dont see the point really. Collectors provides all the mana, energy regen I need; and the extra +15 protection is just silly. I could be wrong, but personally I havent seen a difference; and have yet to have the collectors "cripple" my gaming experience...
