We do have Energy Storage, but the other classes can have extra energy without any attribute points!

Anyone ever notice that Rangers can stand up to elemental damage better than Elementalists who are supposed masters of the very magic?
Elementalist: +15 vs. X elemental magic (fire, air, etc.)
Ranger: +30 vs. all elemental magic
Not sure if I'm right that's why I put the ? there, it sounds too good to be true. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's a heck of a lot more. Also, isn't that just the rangers standard bonus with armor? Eles have to get the better armor for that above mentioned bonus to just one element, and only 15. Not to mention Rangers have the second best AL in the game (which is reasonable I guess, being non-casting). I swear it's weird when everyone is dead and I'm sitting there watching a Ranger take a whooping and not even blink.
If they get that kinda protection from elemental why can't eles get like +60 vs. one element? Not trying to complain I don't die easily as an Ele, just was shocked to see what kinda of protection they get. I get raped by elemental spells as an Ele, if Warriors can take a licking and keep on ticking in the melee, I think Eles should walk off Meteor/Fireball shot if wearing Pyromancer armor, not take 100+ damage.

You're right.
Rangers take exactly half the elemental damage that elementalists do.

I have yet to see a elementalist using OF. I have only seen Monks using it. I am an Earth Elementalist myself, so I'm not idiotic enough for that.
EDIT: Okay, I decided that people need to know what exactly I'm talking about. I'm copying the reply I posted on the other thread...wait a minute...

I use OF to farm Titans or Ice Imps
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...d.php?t=118850
Ive took on upto 8 lvl 28 Titans with it and ended with full health and energy.
E/R (not a monk)

unless he could throw in on the monk. that would be bichen

If you're talking about PvE, then Obsidian Flesh owns.
