I'd like to say that I have personally found an elemental sword, but not from either a chest, elemental monster, or monoliths, but for me a "Dune Beetle Lance" in HM, through just exploring the area.
From this, I think that any monster/chest in the desolation area has a miniscule chance of dropping elementals, so farming this particular area may be nice, but you could probably go farm in another general area and still have a similar chance of an elemental sword drop. |

Heh no ele sword yet, but 2 elite tomes 5 rares and 1 white dye on 3 runs ^^ i like it so far

I think we should all start chest running hehe. For a few reasons, We have had no start on what drops it the most, "Apprantly" a Monolith and a Dune Beetle has dropped it and maybe for people who dont read this thread a Crag.
They deffently drop from chests as i have had one myself, running from Bone Palace, before HM. |

just got an ele sword from the monlith farm, got it out the chest that spawns...
didnt have any lockpicks on me, one dropped so i opened the chest =] req13 :S |

Does anyone have the complete e/a fire build/sliver build?
I'm trying a fire build and it seems to leave them very close to death but not dead 16 fire glyph sac met shower bed of coals flame burst flame djinns haste dash shadow form fire attune |

the damage from silver armor alone is greater than all the fire spells you put together. With glyph of ele and +1 offhand (I use droajam storm) you have 19 earth magic and with max lb rank you deal extraordinary damage on them

and you can get to the temple solo without hero/henchie, just use wurm all the way

no elemental sword so far, but gold drops are really lots and nice
got a screen of one of my best runs: 6-7golds we're best so far sry i forgot..its german ....but you can see the gold *bling bling* for sure *Edit: my runs are getting better every time...started at ~50mins...now its like 25-30 mins ... clearing the complete mob + collecting stuff and selling stuff to merchant and so on^^ Last edited by jenny2; May 14, 2007 at 10:44 AM // 10:44.. |

So then, sliver is better than fire? Switching \o

omg -.- is it so hard to think a little yourself?
you need max earth (16) for max dmg of course...and you need max SA to make SF last as long as possible ...the rest goes into ES....so what was so hard about that now? |

Guess I am just not so lucky, getting 2 golds per run, and clearing the entire site, plus killing alem as well. I did get a gold aeroblade sword, pretty nice =D
