I doubt it...perhaps from the chests from around the crags, Ive yet to seen actual proof that they drop the sword, even then the drop rate seems so small.

1) We don't know if these even drop ele swords.
2) Even if they do, they don't chuck hundreds of them at you like corsairs do.

Maybe it's my luck or the chance of them dropping ele sword is extremely small. I farmed them over at poisoned outcrops and Ruptured heart using SV necro, and already have almost a stack of sandblasted lodestone and still not a single ele sword. Another possibility drops that I can see is from the Sandstorm boss Droajam.

hmm...well after a little under a week of flagging henchmen, and switching regions in hopes of triggering a drop, i think its safe to say elementals are a bitch to get took me around 2 weeks to get a colossal, but everyone seemed to be grabbing those pretty quick. havent seen many elementals going around. elemental sword wins this round...

i've had a few goes at farming this place and also the poisoned outcrops a while back but not a single gold has dropped so far from those enemies. however, i did find someone post this pic over in guildwars.incgamers, but the guy didn't say exactly where or what dropped the sword. the pic does show the quest he was using "A Show of Force" which is located in the Sulfurous Wastes(off to find the quest now ). using wurms to farm is probably not the best way to farm the sword either. i do have my own ele sword which i bought a while back, but i always enjoy farming the weapons i like/want the most

edit: just the did the quest you do before you get "A Show of Force" in which you go to exactly the same place. at that location there are about 20 graven monoliths and 3 margos, easy to kill on hard mode with the wurms and a treasure chest down there too. im guessing there will be another bunch of monoliths with the proper quest, and hopefully after i complete it. i also got 3 golds from just going to the place since u gotta kill a few groups along the way, but yeah so far it seems like its plausable that ele swords drop from graven monoliths.

judging from the screenshot, I can say that the Graven Monolith dropped the sword for him (look at the quest name, how the quest was updated - kill the Graven Monoliths, the position of the word "drops" of 2 different lines). Maybe GWwiki is indeed full of crap and we have been wasting time for nothing.

Well, wiki is written by players like us. So of course there are things that are not true

There are margonite bosses that spawn in that quest, right? I guess the boss could of dropped it too. Outside of that the only thing that is down there are the Monolith's.

Looking at the SS it says "XXX drops..." and if you look further down it says "Graven Monolith drops...". Notice the word "drops" lines up the same in both spams, so I think Graven Monoliths would be a good assumption from this SS.

Do these things suffer from conditions? I looked on wiki and didn't see any information if they were fleshy or what not...

yeah you're right margo bosses do spawn in that quest. once you click on the last shrine in that quest 3 bosses spawn, one of which is an ele boss called Tanmahk the Arcane but the name looks too long for what is shown in the pic? once you get to the location in the quest "A Show of Force" there are the 20 monoliths as usual, but also a bunch of shrines. everytime you click on a shrine 5 monoliths spawn as well as a couple of margos. just trying it now so i clear out the place and hopefully remember not to click on the last shrine hehe.

i doubt the ss is fake, the post i found that pic in was to do with a different issue altogether. well if u want proof that monoliths at least drop swords then heres a ss of what i picked up earlier

Ah yes, that "show of force" screenshot was me. I've now seen 2 elemental swords drop along the "show of force" quest (the other was for someone else, in my guild). From a different species. I rather suspect at this point that pretty much everything in the desolation *can* drop the sword, but that the drop rates are extraordinarily low.

The "show of force" quest is a decent Lightbringer/sunspear farm anyway, but I'd be interested to see if anyone ever came up with a way to solo the monoliths quickly.

I dont understand GuildWiki:
They say: Great spot to do Lightbringer Farming on Hard Mode. Activate this quest, clear out the temple and you will receive approx. 500-600 LB points. Abandon the quest once back in town and redo it again and again.

The Scout on the left gives points for slaying undead creatures not monoliths..
