Hmm, as I said before, I checked all the Build directories, and there's not a build specifically for it. On another note, can a 55HP monk be run with an Elem primary?

Yes, you can run a 55 monk build as an ele primary - you just won't have the benefit of max damage from smiting or max duration on prot spirit, etc. You also won't have the option of using the dervish skill Mystic Regeneration which is the best form of healing for the 55 monk.
At any rate, just run 5 sup runes and get the -55 grim cesta and go to town - you might try ele spells to damage instead of SoJ (whirlwind+aftershock or other PBAoE's for example).
Not as efficient, but it can be done.

As many will inevitably tell you, the concept of 55 farming is not exclusive to Monk primaries. The concept is basically the same for all 55 variants: Prot Spirit + healing (typically done through high regen) or zero damage skills (SoA+Shielding Hands, for example). You can probably even run it as a 105 (meaning, no Grim Cesta) with a +20% enchant staff.
For an Elementalist primary, your damage skill of choice is probably going to be Sliver Armor + Glyph of Renewal. The problem with the First City Farm using Sliver is that the enemy groups are fairly small--usually no more than 6, unless you drag groups to each other. The real value of Sliver as a farming skill is that it does best in large groups. In the First City, I can see a Sliver farmer taking down the warriors pretty quickly, but the Necros, which don't attack as often might take a while to kill. Depending on the number of maintained enchantments and the need to counter degen, you might find yourself with energy management issues. The reason The First City is a popular 55 monk spot is because SoJ does double damage to the undead, which goes very quickly.
'Course, you could just take SoJ instead of Sliver and basically be a slightly less effective 55 monk.

Yep, you can be a poor man's 55 SoJ monk if you really want too, heck my Dervish has filled that role at one point in that area so I know an ele can do it (there are better 130hp dervish builds - I was goofing off).
I would also ask - why try and fight the game? If an Ele doesn't really do that farm well - go someplace else. There are tons of places they do quite well. If you fight the game then you will normally be unhappy. There is no reason to try to shoehorn a class/build into someplace it doesn't work.
If a 55 build is OK for you then just make one of the classes that mesh well with that build - in the long run you will be happier. If you simply lack the gold then go farm someplace with that Ele that it does well with and purchase what you need. If you are looking to farm with the ele, look to where that class does well.

Thanks for the help. I tried it out last night. I did passable. Honestly, I just now beat NF and Prop and am while my elem is okay to farm with, I just wanted to try something different. I think I will take STRCPY's advice and roll a monk, though. Here come's the grind!
