Yea very nice. I also saw an obsidian flesh ele build which tanks UW (no Sb of course), don't have an ele so dont know how that worked... Also i remember after the spirit bond and AoE nerfs people said farming was dead. Don't think FoW could be soloed back then though My point is keep the builds coming, A-Net will never stop us farmers! Especially with Nightfall skills coming... muahahaha
Yea... im very nostalgic

But in my experience in about the 4 or 5 runs i was able to complete (up to the beach entrence at the end of the video) i got an average of about 1 shard a run and a gold drop about every other run. Fun build but definitly more efficient ways to farm fow. Hopefully he will able to tweek the build so it will be more versitle.

Take the initiative, try the beach. However, for the most part, I agree, its inefficient for all the running around to kill certain groups. (BTW, U can kill other groups that aren't in the video, read the guide, the majority are in great battle field). Next time we get favor, I'm experimenting to see if I can get some "slave" elementalists to follow me around to kill the various 2 warriors and monk groups. When nightfall comes out, this will be amazingly effective. The new build would most likely be stoneflesh aura, sliver armor, obsidian flesh, stone dagger or aftershock, storm chaser, serpents, armor of earth and stone stiker (notice no heal, this is because with taking 0 damage, natural over time health regen will kick in as long as you aren't dealing damage). In thise case, you dont need to cast every 9 seconds, and you have huge defense. The key areas would be the burning forest, the beech, and maybe shadow armies. The trick would be to just keep walking. Get your enchants up, keep them up, cast sliver whenever possible, and just move and aggro more. They wouldn't pose any threat due to stoneflesh and armor of earth, and they'd be dropping in seconds due to the massive damage of sliver.
Sliver armor DPS:
Per second while active. (1:3 ratio between melee attackers and casters)
6 attackers: about 140
12 attackers: about 280
24 attackers: about 360
Factoring in recharge (including serpents quickness):
6 attackers: about 70
12 attackers: about 140
24 attackers: about 280
Thats pretty large, a standard caster will drop in about 1.66 seconds (due to armor), and heal sig warriors will drop just about as fast.

-Because they either don't contain an elementalist or have too many monks. See the first section of the guide.
-Haven't tried, I assume probably not.
-The first few groups, haven't gotten beyond that. Conflagration really helps with the rock borers and armored cave spiders. Spirit sheperds are no problem, however the ranger interrupts along with nature's renewal make it unreliable
-Yes, haven't gotten there yet, but with conflagration and careful timing, the spiders go down easy (I know from forest spiders). The doubters would be no problem at all.

yeah this build works very well. Tryed a few time, gotten a bunchof shards (Thanks agian). Just it gets annoyign when you soemtimes foget to hit stone daggers and the kinetic armor gets off then while yor recasting it, obsidian flesh wears of, but then by the time you realize your in toa, yeah i hate when that happens. The Nightfall skills are gonna be really helpful and probably much easier. Sucks you cant solo all of the mobs. Thanks agian!!!!!

something modded to this should work-
PS
Breeze
SB
Star Burst/Double Dragon
Burning Speed
Balth Spirit
Essence Bond
Mending
EDIT: just use Burning as your main dmg, cover Breeze with Spirit Bond, and Spirit Bond when you use Burning Speed.

Except why would you need monk skills to tank when you can do it just fine with ele skills?

If you can do it with just ele skills, by all means do so. going E/Mo with Essence Bond might help though just for e management.

This build still works. Energy isn't a problem with storm chaser. This build already has a secondary, ranger, for serpents quickness, and going 55 would just complicate things, and you would lose immunity to spells for a certain amount of time.

Edit: I swear it wasnt working last night, died like 5 times in fow because serpants wasnt doing anything but i tried it again today and it worked. It seems like when i tried to cast it at the same time it wasnt working but if i cast serpents and then ob armor, it recharges faster.

Lets try to spend some attribute points in Wilderness Survival to increase the duration of SQ SQ needs to last atleast 24 seconds for it to work properly.

Another wow. Forget the shield, this provides 33 absorbtion against everything, and lasts as long as obsidian flesh. Could possibly replace unguent, because against all sources you'd be taking 0 damage, so no healing is needed.
|
Well, unless you're adamant on trying the spiders (which should be incredably slow and useless) you would still have to use uguent for the degen. Also, again with the spiders, I'd recommend using your alternate slot for Obsidian Flame to occasionally cast to avoid the spiders' high ele armor. Not sure if you should just do anything else just using the normal build plus stone striker or Stonflesh Aura.

Got Nightfall recently, have the skills, next time we have favor I'm using the new build and videoing it.
Also, have a new e/me build with searing flames, should work well, gonna test after I get the current ele/ranger nightfall build working.
