Exempt from loot scaleing means the items that anet have allowed us to farm...
Greens...Gold Weapons...Rare Materials etc...

looks nice...too bad I doubt that elementals are farmable, based on my now extensive experience on this run. Haven't seen a single one drop in ~30 runs with groups from 5-8. No one else in groups has seen one either.

I really think they're chest/random drops from a variety of targets.

You may be right, but hopefully with this thread we can determine if this is the case, we just need more input from the community with pics etc...
Perhaps to fully understand the best place to farm them we should create a page listing the various areas like: poisoned outcrops vs Sulpherous Wastes vs Crystal overlook and other areas people have reported drops. Then once we have located the best area, then we can figure out which monsters have the best chance for a Elemental Sword drop. So far I have farmed all the above places with no luck.

My warrior would really love to get one!

Works perfectly fine as a mo/e if you bring your r/mo hero to spam QZ and run whichever enchants on the tank you desire.

I use E/D and its probably a lot faster, since I don't have to teleport out.

I can make that run naked with just 4 people (3 heroes + myself) inside the worms, the heroes could be level 1, doesn't matter at all! so, what is the purpose of this thread?

i'm wondering what the purpose for this thread is as well. the other thread on ele swords is good, and was starting to die off a bit, not on first page i mean. now with this more people will try it and the price will drop even more, good job, NOT!

Ive been doing this with 1 hench and myself in a Worm. Takes longer but completely safe. Even with DP there are enough Monoliths to take care of that. As insurance from gettn sent back to the outpost at 60DP, you could bring along 1 more hench and post him out of range. Also, as soon as u die, your hench will res u. Taking u back to 3k health. No problem really.

Many people who posted in the other thread had problems farming this place so I decided to post a guide. Sorry for dropping prices but helping the GW community is much more important.

I believe the purpose of the thread was to give people the E/A, A/E build. Since a few were asking for it in the other thread. I have done about 5 runs with the E/A build and picked up FOW tomes, Elite War tomes, White and Black Dyes, some crap golds. Just got a req 10 fellblade

The sucky thing is the faster you do the wun, the worse drops you get. For example, if I pop up all Shrines and the start killing I kill about 10-15 foes per Sliver Armor cast and at the end I get about 1 bag full of items, about 5-6 inscribed shards. If I kill them in small groups I get 3/4 of inventory full and 20+ inscribed shards. That rumor that Anet introduced the system for killing enemies at the same time reduces loot must be true.
