Default How good is elemental damage?

keep in mind i only got factions and prophecies

Well i was thinking of making my general AB build better:
Healing Signet
Sever Artery
Gash
Dragon Slash
For Great Justice
Shadow Refuge
Sprint
Bulls Strike

by using conjure flame/lightning, etc. on ele as secondary (havent gotten it yet), which would be the best? i was thinking lightning cuz flame monsters can be resistant to and eles too, ice would be also resistant to monsters and eles but lightning is what? is it lower dmg or what? it seems like it rules all of them, i dont know about earth tho...

right now my weapons are:

-Sskai (used to be my fav sword but its just a common green, doesnt look good either)

-Fiery Broadsword of Fortitude (fiery max dmg, dmg +15 ^50, +29hp, gold)

-Shocking Highlander Blade of Shelter (lightning max dmg, +6 physical armor, inscription "too much information, purple, decent skin) (i guess i could change it around a bit buy would come out to be a bit expensive no?)

-Shiro's Sword (never use it, i dont really enjoy vamparic lol, i dunno y)

-Barbed Salient Sword of Swordsmanship (max dmg, swordmanship +1 20%, increase of bleeding by 33%, inscription "vengence is mine") (people said it sucks, but after i bought it lol, i even changed it around a bit...)

So i got one fiery sword hilt and i can get one lighting of the highlander.

What you suggest i do weapon wise? Is it worth using the conjure spell?

i was maybe thinking:
PvE: Sskai
PvP: Highlander changed around, broadsword, or added fierty to barbed salient.

I MANAGED to scrape up 40k over some time, and willing to invest it into my warrior, buying elite luxon seems impossible and id rather stick to my normal luxon set.

you could use conjure flame or lightning with either of those swords with 8 attrib points in the corresponding element

and mods are pretty cheap nowadays so it wouldn't be too expensive

get a 15^50 on the lightning sword and you should do pretty well

I'd change your build to something more like this for pve when doing conjure though

[skill]dragon slash[/skill][skill]sun and moon slash[/skill][skill]conjure lightning[/skill] or [skill]conjure flame[/skill]
[skill]"for great justice!"[/skill][skill]"watch yourself!"[/skill][skill]tiger stance[/skill][skill]healing signet[/skill]res

Aginst rangers and els, elemental damage is worse than physical. However the conjures were modifed such that the bonus damage ignores armor that increasing its value in general.

Female luxon armor is worse than kurzick, but still very nice.

Don't worry about cost, last time I checked, you could snag an IDS for 15k, and a +29 health mod for a few k.

My main weapon has a shocking mod on it, just because I prefer lightning damage to the others on my sword. Which one you choose doesn't matter too much.

Buy a Strength and Honor 15^50 Inscription for the Highlander Blade and also get a +5 armor Sword pommel if you can't afford a Fortitude.

Strength and Honor should only cost you 2k, 3k at most.

Not that should be talking to a luxon :P

But for PvP (mainly AB) I use a conjure flame build. Very high dps. I can solo all the shrines except ele with it. Takes most clases down 1v1 to.

oh and CUSTOMIZE!!

Highly reccomended.

you should always customize the weapons you're planning on using. otherwise you're better off just using a pvp character.

as for which element : doesn't realy matter in PvP. However, lightning has a plus cause then your shock (in case you use it, and a KD is always usefull) does more damage. And yes, that extra 20/30 dmg can realy make a difference ...

The choice of element is somewhat important but not vital. First off there is no Conjure Earth spell so that precludes using Ebon mods in a conjure build. That leaves Fire, Air, and Water for choices. You don't really have to worry about anyone except Rangers having bonus Elemental AL in pvp but in pve some mobs are resistant so check that first.
If you plan on using any other skills from a line choose that but otherwise its all about preference or availability of your weapons.
fwiw, vampiric is an excellent mod as long as your not getting blocked all the time. It's 3 pts of life steal and you don't need a secondary or att pts to get it.

well if the sword has fire dmg, etc. then oubviously not, its the fiery hilt, and the vamparic goes as a hilt also i guess

its still good to bring a vamp set though in case of your conjure being interrupted or disabled or whatever.

The footnote regarding Vampiric was in regards to the OP saying he just doesn't like Vamp in general. Vampiric mods are hilts just like Elemental mods and hopefully everyone realizes that a Conjure X has no effect if you are not using an X elemental hilted weapon. The comment was appended at the end just to make the remark that Vampiric is actually one of the best weapon mods for a warrior......not to actually use it with a Conjure X build.....

buy a q9 greater highlander... got mine for 10k... when EOTN was new too... Probably made mysel 30-40k proffit on it now... But I like the skin... Perhaps best sword skin next to Broadsword (Not the eotn version) Runics also quite nice too.. but they cost .

Hmmm... never used a conjure build on my war.. so far shes just played hammer thingy in ra and dragon slash spamm in pve.. alternating with ursan ofcourse.. but are conjure builds really that great in abs? o.o

The poster admitted that only ONE section of the armor looked remotely like Necromancer/Mesmer armor, not as a whole. As a whole, it doesn't have the same feel as Necromancer or Mesmer armor.

My list of characters
I only have one female character, and that's not a Warrior. Nice try. That reminds me, I need to update it sometime.
