yes, it is in Hard Mode - people farmed this around a year ago for Colossal Scimitars, which were popular at the time. By the way, you might want to chck post dates when posting - the last post in the thread before yours was ~10 months ago.

Correct Jeans - I've been using a sort of twist on the Mo/D build and an ele, this is what I've come up with (not sure if this already have been posted here, cba checking every page).
9 Earth Prayers, 16 Earth Magic, rest in Energy storage
[skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill]Sliver Armor[/skill][skill]Glyph of Swiftness[/skill][skill]Stoneflesh Aura[/skill][skill]Armor of Earth[/skill][skill]Elemental Attunement[/skill][skill]Earth Attunement[/skill] + Random skill, like Elemental Lord or something alike.
Also, I'm not sure this works since the "nerf" of Mystic Regen, but give it a try

edit: ive tried out the monk build a bit more and i can do it fairly easily now, but still once in a while you will get soa interrupted which screws you up. anyway heres the build i use:
soj, soa, ps, mystic regeneration, mending, watchful spirit, blessed aura, balths spirit (yes you really need this much regen)
14 smiting, 13 prot, 13 divine fav, 3 healing, 4 earth (no point having 14 prot as attributes gets reduced by 1 with weakness)
energy regen isn't a problem here its only getting soa back on all the time as it runs out just before it's recharged. so to solve this i use high health regen and everytime just as soa is about to run out cast ps -> soa. your health will drop quickly so ps gives you a small boost of health the split second before soa is recharged. this is easier to do with soj is up, and your more likely to get interrupted when soj is down. anyway 2 soj's and they are all dead apart from 1 or 2 stragglers.
also i notice drops are kinda random, sometimes you get something ridiculous like 2 drops othertimes its like pre update and u get plenty of drops with a couple of golds sometimes.

To overcome the problem with YAA I bring a minipet I don't know if it stills works though but about a month ago i tried it while I was farming corsairs outside zehlon reach the warriors were spamming YAA but I wasn't getting crippled or weakened

yes the minipet trick still works, but you still can get weakened & crippled by YAA if it wanders somwhere far <to counter that always take your pet for a walk before farming, so that it dosnt have to suddenly go to the bushes for a number 1 or 2 when you are in a middle of a fight>
ok this build works in Moddok <Hard Mode> on all Corsairs at the beggining of the mission <Cutthrouts, Raiders and Captain B. Fluffybottom>
the sad part is we have to drug...erm maybe later...drag Dunkoro along with us <and that affects the drops unless we leave him somwhere far where he turns gey...um...grey <stupid keyboard>_<
butt dont worry he will prove useful...even if it kills him
ok the skills:
1. Glyph of Sweetnes
2. Vengful Was Khanhei
3. Stoneflesh Aura
4. Resilient Was Xiko
5. Armor of Earth
6. Earth Attunement
7. Sliver Armor
8. Vengful Weapon
Attributes: <this is no mini pet version> 5Air 15(12+3)Earth 12Restaurant rest in energy storage
Equipment: I use a caster sword (+5e & 20%ench.) and a earth offhand with +45hp while enchanted for a 500hp total, but any staff with enchanting mod will do, also I didnt bother changing my radiant insygians for survivor ones.
(74 energy total)
Dunkoro: empty skillbar & no gear will do just fine
Tactic: go straight ahead to Captain B, then go to the kitchen and make me a sandwich <no mustard> by the time you get back they should finish talking - take the "I'll follow you...for now." option
position yourself so that you have all the cutthrouts in your aggrobubble and flag Dunkoro at Captain B's location to trigger the ambush...oh and cast 6,5,1,3,2...keep that all up + Sliver or/and Vengful to kill them
once they are all dead, wait for your energy to recharge, cast 6,5,1,3,2 again and aggro/pull the Raiders without Captain B <he has an interrupt >
expect some heavy degeneration but dont fear - just keep 6,5,1,3,2 up all the time and the Vengful Was wil outheal the degen easily <use Vengful weapon if you are running low on health, it also helps at killing the last ones> once they are all dead quickly cast&drop Resilient Was, regen, and kill Captain B. (same tactic+spam Vengful weapon)
time: less than 6min. but may be longer depending on what kind of sandwich you are making

thats why I always keep my receipts from the merchants :P
on topic: one more thing about the build I just posted - dont expect this to be some uber farm spot - these guys are barely lvl 20 on hard mode
