Absolutely! Use Glyph of Essence to recast Ether Prodigy to not loose health at all.

depends on how well you can use it. i try it, still prefers dual attunements on my elementalist, i shall try a hero monk with EP heling and see how it goes later, I suspect its not that great as people might think it is. it all depends on the players ability in using the skill.
