[glyph of elemental power][armor of earth][sliver armor][balthazar's spirit][essence bond][retribution][holy wrath]

I was wondering if that would be a safe way to kill the doppleganger.

The plan would be to cast BS, EB, Retribution and HW when you first enter arena, then get next to him use GoEP, AoE, and sliver armor, let him attack you which would hit him for over 40 per hit while you take nothing. Also if he uses all of the Enchants that I did, without me attacking, he would soon be at no energy recharge and could do nothing except for attack.

Any better ways other than nuking because I want to be as safe as possible?

Edit: WOOT, I killed him

, I didn't use Holy Wrath and instead I brought [magnetic aura] and [life attunement]. Only took about 3 minutes, it was hard to keep a constant upkeep of [armor of earth] so he hit me for about 30 sometimes.

if your going monk secondary bring healing breeze, dopple does not use it.

Use Healing Breeze and wand him to death. Safe, guaranteed.

Btw, HB is the only skill you need on your bar (except, if you desire, for others that do him no good and make him waste time casting. Glyphs and attunements, for example.)

I heard someone say that but I also heard that you can't map out once you enter so if I try that and he does use it I would be failsauce.

Are you 100% sure he doesn't use Healing Breeze?

hmmm...this may not be helpful buttttt.... i wonder if someone fighting someone with retribution and holy wrath, they had the same stuff, someone attacks once, would the damage from the attack just bounce back and forth forever? cause it deals damage back to the source

[[Glyph of Elemental Power] + [[Conjure Flame] + fire weapon (a standard Fire Staff will do). And, if you have them, [[Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support] and [["I Am The Strongest!"] would be nice to have as well since the Doppelganger doesn't use PvE skills. Nothing else on the bar. I wanded him to death about an hour and a half ago with my own E/Mo.

Meh just take a bunch of fire AoE's. Just run around while he wastes his on you, and then toast him. I think that's pretty damn safe.

No big deal. The [["I Am The Strongest"] and [[Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support] are just nice extras, but hardly needed - they just make it a little faster than the two important parts ([[Conjure Flame], or another Conjure if you're using a different elemental damage type for your weapon, and [[Glyph of Elemental Power]).

Seriously, just those two skills on your bar will have the Doppelganger dead in well under a minute and you should have, assuming you have the Krytan armor from the collectors in the Desert or got a Drok's run or have Factions/NF to get max armor early, maybe 3/4ths of your Health left.

Logging out is safer than closing gw, just hit f12 and space.
