I was raptor farming today, I was using the e/a build on pvx and I killed most of the raptors while under effects of [shadow form] through silver armor (say goodbye to my build,

) and after SF ran out I casted [Stoneflesh Aura] and while waiting for silver armor to reload I was taking damage, not bad damage, like 20 or something, but I shouldnt be with earth at 16, anyone know what that was about? Im not mad, or anything, just questioning.

-I was in Hard Mode, but that never made a difference before.

I don't run the E/A build for raptors, I just use E/Me, and yea in HM i've always taken dmg w/ just stoneflesh on even with Earth at 16. Normaly I upkeep stoneflesh and armor of earth for 0 dmg at all times. You can try this if your SF is being affected.

Glyph of Renewal
Sliver Armor
Stoneflesh Aura
Armor of Earth
Grasping Earth
Channeling
Manta of Resolve
Glyph of Restoration (or Ether Feast - heal slot)

E/A is probably easier, but just an alternative you can try

i think he's saying that he's used stoneflesh aura before on the raptors, and never took damage, but since the SF update he now takes damage when he uses it against them, thus he's wondering if they nerfed Stoneflesh.

I honestly don't know if they did or not, haven't been terra tanking with my ele in a while, but if they did that sucks.

By 20 damage, do you mean 20 per hit, or 20 total over a minute or so? You always took some damage, but nothing like 20 per hit.

I just checked using an E/Me build in Hard mode, and it seemed fine. I was running Stoneflesh Aura at 16 Earth Magic, a Blessed Insignia on all pieces of armor, and a Defensive Staff Head and never took more than 2 damage from a single hit, most were zero. This is about what it always was like for me. Also, I didn't aggro the boss.
