is it possible to make a build that decently uses SY (since i mostly don't have a buddy playing a para or warrior with SY) for vanqing?

pretty tough considering ele's dont melee much .... and SY is an adrenal skill ..... but u could attack with your staff and use that warrior adrenal skill with 200% adrenaline charged and put a furious mod on staff ....

Staffs don't have furious mods. Imho, I would use a furious spear, that way, you could caster mod it.

cough furious mod on a staff? since when do staffs have furious mods?

and i mainly use a spear in pve since of the bonuses it gives me which outweigh the less damage i get (especially since both wands and staffs are so slow in attack that the damage is next to nothing)

Np, never tested it, because... well, the idea of E/W using a weapon disgusts me. But remember to use spear. Flail is for the times where elite skill won't work due to downtime of the shout.

we'll i'm not a fan of it either it's just in some area's i have to put up with ideotic henchmen where it helps to have the extra 100 armor

See, most Imbagons use BOTH an IAS AND Focused Anger (a Leadership elite skill) chained with "For Greater Justice!". The original Imbagon works decently with ranks 3 and up in the Allegiance title track. So, it is possible to go E/W and do without Focused Anger, yet it requires a far higher rank to work properly (7+, so that SY! lasts 5 seconds, minimum), an IAS alone being insufficient to fill up the shout again before it ends without the double adrenaline gain.

Thanks alot for that one and i don't agree with them i agree with you indeed a para is better but my main being ele and title hunter and having zero access to a friend playing a para or a DS SY spammer (most find it boring to play) i have to stick with things like this
