Need help with Good PvE Air build
Heyy guys, i havent really played as an elementalist for a while and i need some help with a build.
I'm tihnking of using skills like-
[skill]Lightning Orb[/skill]
[skill]Lightning Hammer[/skill]
[skill]Lightning Strike[/skill]
[skill]Shock Arrow[/skill]
[skill]Elemental Attunement[/skill]
Other then that i have know clue what else to put in, should i go with 2 attribs or stay pure, please help me with a good general PvE build

The main things from Air is blind, but you can also carry some decent damage.
For the optional slots, I suggest more utility like Cry of Frustration and other... stuff. I generally haven't gone air since the B-Surge nerf (I know it's PvP only now), because I prefer other things such as Shatterstone.

I would swap Arcane Echo for [[Ebon Battle Standard of Wisdom], and maybe swap Aura of Restoration for [[Blinding Flash]. It could be quite fun then.
Alex the Great's build is pretty solid also, and good in Hard Mode.

Several of these can be swapped for other skills, such as Whirlwind for a blinding skill or Glyph of Energy for a different elite skill. I primarily use dual attunement for Fire and tend to use a different elite when I go Air.

Air is especially good at anti-melee. Blindness and weakness will bascially shut melee down and cracked armour will make them take more damage. I'd go with this build as a core, then add in a couple of skills of your choice.
[lightning orb][enervating charge][blinding flash][epidemic][no skill][no skill][air attunement][elemental attunement]
Maybe add in a couple of PvE skills. [you move like a dwarf!] would work very well with epidemic for AoE crippled, and it's a good general interrupt (fastest one in the game). [ebon battle standard of wisdom] [ebon battle standard of honor] [pain inverter] or [technobabble] would be my suggestions for the last one but whatever takes your fancy really.

You can always replace some of the skills depending on what you want to do. It's meant to spike the hell out of special targets in HM.

In PvE, making one of your heroes the source of Weakness, Cracked Armor, and condition spreading is usually the way to go (the [enfeebling blood][weaken armor][epidemic] necro comes to mind). Dual attunements will let you spam your own skills like there's no tomorrow, even more so if you're a fan of 40/40 sets, which means you'll be too busy spiking to slow down for dedicated condition spreading. Orb's LOS sucks, and dual attunements make Hammer's higher cost laughable; recharge times are going to be your main enemy, nothing more.
Javelin is there as one of the fastest-recharging air skills, and also as added melee annoyance; feel free to toss both it and Strike for anything that you fancy, but Hammer + Flash + Dual attune + Aura as cover is a tried and true PvE cruise control method in my book. I just prefer fire over it most of the time
