Default Ele in the 600/SMite team??

Hi,

I was wandering whether it's possible to make it. In theory, it's easy. But an ele 600 relies on Spirit Bond (healing) and Obsidian Flesh (counter-spell). SB needs to get 60 damage in order to heal. But OF increase your armor from 15 (or 5) to 35 (or 25).

The question is: is that damage still more than 60? I know that Aatxes hit 800+ at 15 armor, so that's not a problem. But what about Grasps, Smites and other weaklings?

(This is in HM btw)

Yea it works but monks are best for 600/smite UW farming

Ele 600/smite works pretty much just as good as monk 600. The place where ele 600 just rules is in the ooze pit Ooze = a ton of dmg so under 60 is never a problem. Overall monk 600 are preferable for farming certainly UW farming. the 33%(I think) slower movement is a real drag in ele 600 but in certain areas they can farm very well.

In conclusion monks are better a UW 600/smite 100% spell protection is not really needed in farmable UW areas. However i am certain that the majority of the dmg done by smites +grasps would be 60+ dmg.

no because for a 600 to work they have to take damage and with obby flesh's armor bonus it would fail.

You can use E renewal however with some other skills and just have the smiter put SB on you.

I have tried that but the reason why someone would use a ele 600 over monk 600 is because you have 100% spell protection. Os flesh does indeed increase your armor but it really does not effect it to greatly. When farming dungeons on my monk i more than often acquire the great Dwarf Armor blessing this increases your armor lvl to the same amount
(i think give or take a few) as os flesh so long as ur taking on a large mob you can handle the dmg fine.
eles however can not handle great dwarf blessing if you do farm in dungeons and you get that blessing hit SoA at once and hope for the best. Of course if you have rank 10 dwarf then there’s no point in tacking the blessing.

Ele 600 really can only handle large mobs however the majority of the dmg is normally over 60 however i have experienced lower hits in areas that i have farmed. It would be best to only farm with ele 600 in areas where there are tons of foes. The ooze pit is a perfect example of it the majority of the dmg is over 60 and there are plenty of foes to keep constant healing.
