Does this ward cause them to attack 50% slower? or only run/walk 50% slower?
i can't find anything that is more specific

non-Spirit foes in this area move 50% slower.
Doesn't mention attack speed anywhere in the description. So, only the movement is slowed.

so you only replied in order to be a jerk?
i was thinking this was a forum for help and discussion.. not ridicule and holier than thou attitudes.
to me, an attack is a form of movement.. and i'm probably much newer to the game than yourself. but thanks for the... lack of information and the waste of my time reading your response

Relax, my friend. Don't take his reply personally. If you post a question in a forum that has what most people think is a really simple answer, you are bound to get some sarcastic responses. But you will also get the answer to your question.

I couldn't agree more! Some people...
Back to your question, It only affects the Walk/Run Movement of them.
And yes, i to used to get confused when it just said "Movement" couse basicly everything you do is a movemet, Attacks, Run/walking. But they are usually mentioned as Attack speed and sutch.
Hope that helps!

Well, it IS in the description, you were just oblivious to it. No offense of course, sometimes we like to be sarcastic in this forum
You also double posted...

i don't see where i've double posted ?
and the description says "move" ... in my definitions, when someone is "attacking" they're "moving" ..
maybe in the general lingo of the game some of you have gotten used to how things have been worded
i just wanted to make sure before i used it in my build..
and i really didn't need all these useless responses, just answers
and i can easily be as sarcastic as the best, as you can see from my response to the first kind soul who attempted to make me feel stupid
it isn't my fault some here have nothing better to do

you'll get unkind responses if you ask questions that you could have figured out if you had simply read the wiki article "movement speed". it clearly explains that as far as game mechanics go, movement refers only to running/walking.

ask a stupid question, expect a condescending response.

it's amazing to me how rude some of you can be to someone who is obviously not as adept at the game as you. it wasn't a stupid question.. the only time i've ever known someone to attack without MOVING, is with words, and somehow i doubt that i'm going to be attacked by foes with harsh words. Only in this forum it seems.
i obviously had no idea that there was an entire article dedicated to "movement". I did research as much as possible before posing my question. Maybe it was my fault for not thinking to try looking up the word "movement", but is it really necessary to rub someone's nose in it this harshly? I'm sure if you all go back through every question you've asked on here, you all could have found an answer through a wiki article or other source of information regarding guild wars. I have a right to ask any question i like on here without expecting such harassment. Not that i can't dish it out as well as take it.
if you don't like my question, don't answer it.
and i "double posted" on accident the first time, because i was typing my response before i saw what he had said.
in most forums "double posting" means you posted the same exact response twice, which i didn't do.
The second time you claim i double posted was a response to two different people. Sue me.

Look, you don't have to be "adept" to press F10 and search the skill. If you've found Guru, you would have found either the official (Which is on the Guild Wars site) or unofficial wiki from someone aswell.
As for double-posting, you can edit your posts and even delete them.

first, about the double posting, there's an edit button for a reason. use that to respond to multiple people
you claimed that you have a right to ask any question on here without expecting harassment. this is true, but nobody on here has harassed you. at worst you just took their answers to be rude. if you meant you have the right to ask any question without expecting answers that you find rude this is also true; you have the right to expect whatever you want. what you don't have is the right not to actually receive answers that you find rude.
imo you should focus more on the fact that people took the time to answer your question. some even went a step further and told you where you could more easily find information regarding game mechanics on your own in the future. you're welcome.

I've used the wiki many times.. searching the skill (which you obviously didn't do) tells me the exact same thing the description gives in the game.. as i said, i obviously had no clue there was an entire article dedicated to "movement" and i wanted to make very sure i knew what "movement" meant when pertaining to this skill..
this is getting ridiculous, pointless, and a little mean.
i see no reason to edit or delete anything just because i supposedly "double posted" .. is it hurting you? if so, i'm very sorry.. but i'm not wasting my time on this any longer since someone was nice enough to simply answer the question i asked without wasting mine and your time *gasp*.. shocking i know
i would also like to thank those who did help me and gave me some insight on how to find this information in the future.

I didn't say "Search the skill", and did not mention any priority searches, all because of the fact that it's a game mechanic has been listed within this very thread, so you could've searched game mechanics too, and it even makes it more clear within the notes section of the wiki page.
Either way, you could've simply tested it out for yourself.
As for double posting, the edit button exists for a reason, it allows you to respond to multiple people if you missed a response to someone and clean up spelling mistakes, and more importantly doesn't waste thread room, making the thread alot more tidy itself. I can care less if people do double post, but I might aswell notify them that there is an edit button and it helps sorting out your own posts without having a mod babysit you.

i think you need to reread your original post, because "search the skill" is exactly what you said. and i think this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black when you speak of wasting thread room.

Oh, sorry, I guess you were right.
Although there still is no reason you could broaden your search in the first place.
As for wasting thread room, you'd be amazed at how much more room double posting takes up than normal posts.
