Ele/Me + 3 Ele Heros ( Proph/EotN/NF )
This is just an idea of mine. However I know I will get flamed for the original build.
Your Build:
[aftershock][earthquake][stoneflesh aura][stone striker][mantra of earth][glyph of swiftness][obsidian flesh][aura of restoration]
Now you want about ( with runes ) 16 in earth magic. 12 in energy storage, 5 in inspiration magic and 4 in air magic.
Now the reason why people discourage this is; it's pretty much a tank build. And tanking is boring. Which though elementalist tanking actually requires a certian degree of skill. However this build isn't 100% succesful jsut by yourself. The reason you use it ( Unless you want to be constantly controlling a hero ) is because you go into battle first and they'll range out behind you. You should be controlling yourself, but controlling them too. Making sure they are using the right spells in the right order.
Now heros build will pretty much be a split 12/12 for their main attribute and energy storage ( feel free to add runes ).
[air attunement][blinding flash][thunderclap][chain lightning][chilling winds][whirlwind][aura of restoration][orison of healing]
[Thunderclap] really deals 31 damage and cause dazed condition for 10 seconds ( I think 10 ).
Now [thunderclap] can be subbed with [glimmering mark] ( really hits like 30 lightning damage for 10 seconds if foe is not hit by attacker agian ) however if you hero uses glimmering mark make sure they don't cast on the target foe for the next 10 seconds. ( can be tricky ) [whirlwind] can also be subbed with [gale]
So what is this heros role in our group. He pretty much set's it up so everyone else can do more damage, or not take as much damage. Whilst him doing damage.
[orison of healing] is there in case if it is needed by anyone. ( you can switch for any monk healing skill you want. )
[Water Attunement][Blurred Vision][Slippery Ground][Deep Freeze][Ice Spikes][Icy Shackles][Aura Of Restoration][Resurrect]
This person is pretty much the complete debuffer of the enemies. Most people underestimate the power of slowing enemies down. ( atleast people in the groups I get ). Either way. this person will be doing some damage, but mostly setting the enemies up to be "knocked down" ( not litterally of course ). Resurrect is added just in case some event goes odd.
[Fire Attunement][Searing Heat][Savannah Heat][Fire storm][meteor][aura of restoration][healing breeze][resurrect]
This is the damage build. Now with the water hero slowing everyone down. AoE attacks spanning over 5 or 10 seconds are now deadly. Most people don't like firestorm because it's to easy to evade. But if the enemies are slowed down 90% and a dazed, blinded, and knocked down. They aren't doing anything.
I really like this...
Im guessing you guys don't.

nice idea, wouldnt survive in hard mode though, unless you are thinking about bringing monk henchies...
Have you thought about maybe using the [[ether renewal] heal/prot ele?
[ether renewal] Elite Enchantment Spell. For 5...17 seconds, each time you cast a spell, you gain 1...3 Energy and 5...17 Health for each Enchantment on you.
[ether [email protected]][healing [email protected]][vigorous [email protected]][[email protected]][protective [email protected]][shielding [email protected]][heal [email protected]][renew [email protected]] <<< something like that.. im sure that there are more effective heal/prot ER ele build out there.
That team build looks like it has too much utility and not enough power, you may want to throw in a couple ward in your build and focus your heroes more towards damage dealing
id replace [icy shackles] with [shatterstone] and then replace the 3 ele heroes for 3 necro heroes lol..

If you're using fire for damage, why not just use 3 SF's? They'll wipe whole mobs in the time it takes to SH to recharge. If your using three SH's maybe it's worth it just for the nuke, but only one? And if you're taking eles, why not lightning orb? Cracked armour will be your friend. Plus orb hurts people. And try to squeeze some weakness in those builds, like maybe enervating or something. It'll reduce the hurt on you.
And why the monk stuff? If your heroes are going 12/12 then you'd have like 3 left over. A 3 healing prayers orison is about as useful as going naked in HM. Without PS or SB. You may as well take wards vs melee or elements.

well said
I have seen eleway teams that do work well in HM. However, this is not one of them.

Finally some Air Magic love!
Cracked Armor helps a lot in HM. Also, weakness from Enervating just begs to get hit by Stoning. So, let's see what we have here: 3 conditions from eles (CA, Weakness, Burning) and 2 possible conditions (Bleeding, Deep Wound) from our friends the MM and the Warrior. Epidemic, anyone?
Ele 1 (Air Magic): [Enervating [email protected]] [Lightning [email protected]] [Invoke [email protected]] [[email protected]] [Lightning [email protected]] [Epidemic] [Energy [email protected]] [Air [email protected]]
Also note the possibility of dropping Invoke for Thunderclap and subsequent Dazed, and Blinding Flash for yet another condition to be spread amongst enemies.
Ele 2 (Water Magic): Pretty much the build OP posted but I'd drop Aura of Restoration and Res for [[email protected]] and [[email protected]].
Ele 3 (Earth Magic): [[email protected]] [Ebon [email protected]] [[email protected]] [[email protected]] [Unsteady [email protected]] [[email protected]] [Ward against [email protected]] [Earth [email protected]]
Ele 4 (Fire Magic): [Savannah [email protected]] [Liquid [email protected]] [Rodgort's [email protected]] [Glowing [email protected]] [[email protected]] [Searing [email protected]] [Energy [email protected]] [Fire [email protected]]
Second person brings a WoH/prot hybrid, an HB healbot and a MM. No tanking required since minions are providing the meat shield, you're able to chain Aegis/Melee Ward and will be dealing a considerable amount of conditions/hexes/damage before enemy melee reaches you.

An Air Ele without Blind? A SH Ele without utility?

Do you honestly believe those are needed when the enemy is nearly frozen in place, body-blocked by minions, full of conditions, knocked-down and taking damage or was that just a typical Guru "me > you" post?

If you're not running Blind on an Air Ele, you might as well run another Fire Nuker.
And even then, the top priority skills for a Water Ele are Deep Freeze and Maelstrom which require no attribution, so you might as well run a Mind Blaster with dual heats.
Oh, and you shouldn't need Glowing Gaze, GoLE and Fire Attunement all on one bar when you're not running Searing Flames...
