Fun build
I don't remember a lot about the acronyms used in the game so if you could explain some to me that would be great..
I'm looking for a fun build to play PvE. I kind of want a survivable powerful elementalist. I want one with a lot of energy, and dual or tri elemental. Combos are something I love. Please reply with a build if you have one.
Sort of Ditto for PvP

Though dual attunements are awesome energy management, they're weak. Half the zones in PvE have some sort of enchantment removal (eww Chilblains) and since you might be going H/H and you need to do the aggro, well you're mostly target for enchants removal skills.
Now as far the build goes, you don't need "lots of energy", just don't suck and manage it well. Three elements is a waste of attribute points, you won't do anything well with any of the elements, so stick to two at most. If you want to play all elements, get different headpieces and swap when necessary.
Fun builds include (IMO) stuff with KD, such as Earth Magic, and revolve around using Unsteady Ground, Eruption, Stoning and Enfeebling Blood from secondary necromancer. Can also provide great survival with wards and, dare I say it, Stoneflesh Aura for when you get in trouble.
Water is also nice for Ward Against Harm and the snares (Deep Freeze <3), or the water spikes using Steam, Shatterstone and other stuff I don't remember.
The newly buffed Ether Renewal allows for crazy energy management and can play some gimmicks with lots of efficiency, mainly monks (one sided, either pure heal or pure prot) or rits without energy problems, as long as you don't get stripped off of your enchants.
The other only option that comes to mind is using Mind Blast builds, using some Fire Magic. Mind Blast is great because it doesn't relies on enchantments so heavily and can do most stuff coupled with decent damage (such as using some fire spells and ritualist support skills like Ancestor's Rage and Splinter weapon, or defensive wards and the damage spells).
Or you can just be a sheep and use Searing Flames and Meteor Shower with 16 Fire Magic.
Dunno about PvP.

K well I didn't really understand a lot of that post... It's been a while since I last played... I'm guessing I just need to look up the skills. Air has always been interesting to me. Got an Air build?

Air in general isn't good at PvE, mainly cause its mostly against single targets, but skills like invoke lightning and lightning chain might come in handy.IF,and this is a big if, you like using all 4 elements use the elite Master of Magic, and then you can use all 4 elements to pick and choose UTILITIES, this should not be used to carry damage dealing spells from all 4 elements as using an elite for this is stupid.

Well how about for a COMBO elementalist? Using some set damage skills from one tree or hexes just to get an effect off? I'm up to listening to unique builds. Ones youve heard of or create one just for this. Thanks

Here's a multiline PvE combo that is both powerful, energy friendly and fun to play:
E/A "Promise of Pain"
[Glyph of Lesser Energy] <optional> [Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support][Assassin's Promise]["Finish Him!"]
8+1 Energy Storage
12+1+1 Element of choice
10 Deadly Arts
<optional> should be a damage skill from some elemental line, preferrably one that inflicts a hex or condition, and you'll also get bonus points for AoE (If you opt for [Rodgort's Invocation] then add [Fire Attunement] as well for energy management, or [Water Attunement] if you go water and use [Deep Freeze].)
The combination of GoLE and AP provides up to 35 points of extra energy for every kill, how's that for a lot of energy

Tyce, if you want to run with multiple elements, you need Master of Magic. With it, you can boost all elemental lines to 12 at the same time, which would let you combo Glyph of Immolation with Steam, Enervating Charge with Stoning, or any other cross-attribute combination you feel like trying.
Your original request, however, is ridiculous. No one except you can determine what build will be "fun" for you. All we can do is offer builds that work, and in those terms cross-elemental combos are much weaker (simply because they are more fragile as combos, and most are single target) than a generic fire nuker with an elite of your choice (Searing Flames/Mind Blast/Elemental Attunement/Ether Renewal). My advice to you is to experiment until you find a build you like - even though there's nothing wrong with stealing ideas, your best builds will invariably come from "tweaking" due to personal experience.

Mixing Elements needs careful thought, two elements are common, using three is less so. Master of Magic can be used but even with that it seems to allow quite a disappointing range of builds. A classic Mind Blast build (which can be found somewhere in this thread) is a good way of running dual elements.
Furthermore, you need to remember that running more than 2 elements may sound cool, but the more elements you run, the more thinly spread your attributes become. Again, yes, Master of Magic is an option, though I've never found it a very good one as it stops you using PvE skills, and other utility such as Enfeebling Blood, Cry of Frustration, Aegis and the like.

No, you don't really. Higher energy doesn't mean you can spam more. In order to fire off spells at a decent rate you need to learn how to manage your energy (through things like attunements and glyphs) rather than just "having more". 70-80 energy is quite acceptable for an Elementalist, anything more is just a waste of both Energy Storage and your Weapon Mods, if you're in three figures you're definitely over-the-top.
