Default Elementalist/mesmer build

Hi,

Im playing prophecies with two friends of mine, one is a warrior/necro and the other one is a warrior/monk.

What would be a good build for a elementalist/mesmer? I was thinking about going fire+inspiration and abit of water. So i could keep up my energy while doing some aoe and slowing them with water spells?

Im fairly new to the game so be gentle

If Proph is ths only game you have you should probably look into doing a dual atune RI spam build:

[Fire [email protected]][Elemental [email protected]][rodgorts [email protected]][arcane echo][[email protected]][optional][optional][res sig]

One of your optionals could be Deep Freeze if you want a snare from the water line.

If you have/get factions switching to earth magic would be good with [Unsteady Ground] and [churning earth](for HM).

[[deep freeze] is definitely win, and can be run with 0 specced into water magic

Well, since you have two physicals in the party already, going Air and capping Thunderclap for AoE daze would likely be helpful, as well as cracked armor from lightning orb, then epidemic it so your warrior friends deal bonus damage and interrupt casters. Add in more skills you like, and auspicious incantation + lightning hammer for e-managment if you can.

No offense but if you're fairly new you probably don't have access to Elemental Attunement since it's at the end of the game...although you could unlock it with balthazar faction for pvp and buy an elite elementalist tome from someone to get it...otherwise that'd be a good build for prophecies. Lightning build is also good....elementalist is very versatile

Heh. Didn't realize Ele Atune was at the end when i suggested that. Suggested the build simply because it is rather noob friendly. Also I wasn't sure how many decent air skills are in proph =p

But ya fire is generally good for newer players simply because area damage is easily understood. Definitely check out the other lines though.

Elites for you to get if only prophs:Thunder Clap,Elemental Attunement,Glyph of Renewal,Ether Renewal.

IMO this is the best you can do. [Air [email protected]][Glyph of Lesser [email protected]][[email protected]][Lightning [email protected]][enervating [email protected]][blinding [email protected]][lightning [email protected]]OR[Lightning [email protected]] and rez. thats a prety basic build,14 air magic 13 energy storage.

Should do well,AoE daze will work nicely with your two warrior friends.
