Prophecies only build?
Hello all, I am new and have been getting around ok. I have made it to level 17 and its starting to get difficult. I run an E/Mo with mainly fire. Im running into energy management issues and wondered if anyone had a build that I could possibly try to solo with for the missions at my level. I am currently maxing out on henchmen when i go out to explore but I would like to limit the number I take and survive. Any help would be great. I have checked Wiki but I only run prophecies. I do have max armor from Droks and some runes. to add health. any ideas would be great.

If you're just playing through the game, there's no point in limiting the number of henchmen you take, especially when you aren't level 20 yet.
As for your build, try putting your points into ONLY Energy Storage and Fire Magic, and bring both [Glyph of Lesser Energy] AND [Fire Attunement]. If you have [Elemental Attunement], you might want to take that as well, and just go as a nuker. If you don't have an elite yet, just take stuff like [Fire Storm]/[Meteor Shower], [Immolate], [Searing Heat], etc. Of course, take [Resurrection Signet].
As for henchmen, don't just add random henchmen; take a warrior or two, two monks if you're at the point where two are present, the Blood necro henchman, and some others if you have room.

GW is not solo, for regular PvE bring the full possibility of people.

Once you get to the Crystal Desert, grab [Ether Renewal] and apply it to a build of your choice. Poof, health and energy problems are gone. Feel free to spam whatever it is you want to, be it air, water, earth, fire... or even secondary skills; Such as an elementalist healer. (however, for that, I'd suggest getting factions for the awesome prot skills)

in the 2nd section there is a Tyria only build that works very well.
