if you aren't using AoE in PvE, you're doing it wrong
Or your bored with GW, like me.

if you dont like to hit multiple enemies at a time then i suggest something like this
[air attunement]
But for real, if your goal is to do lots of damage to one enemy at a time, then you should play warrior or something. Eles shine at AoE, whether it be utility or umm utility.

Eles in PvE are for AoE damage, some solo farms, and occaisionally ER protters or Smiters. If you want single target damage, you want a warrior or pewpew ranger.

I already played throughout all campaigns with a warrior.
I been thinking of a Searing Flames combo. What about it?

I use searing flames with glowing gaze, necrosis and liquid flame
(plus fire attunement and aura of restoration of course).
The other 2 slots I switch up, depending where I am. You can hit multiple foes or focus on just one. Great synergy with the paragon skill "they're on fire" for party wide damage reduction.
If you want non-aoe I'd go with air.

SF is fine for beginning game stages, as a couple of SFers can mow through mobs like a lawnmower.
However, you'll find that tougher areas in PvE are extremely anti-fire or too heavily armored to even bother with doing such mediocre damage as SF does at that point.
In which case I HIGHLY suggest that PvE Ele Nukers use a E/Me Cry of Pain build.
