I've spent a lot of time away from guild wars, and just want to check up on what the best searing flames builds are these days, or if the skill just isn't good enough anymore.

Obviously it's PvP hayday as a gimmick build skill has come and gone, but I'd assume it still has potential in Alliance Battles.

For PvE it seems like it would still be a great skill to give heroes as long as you're fighting enemies that are susceptible to fire nuking, especially with someone bringing [["They're on fire!"].

Been a while since I last played my ele so I may be a bit out of tocuh. But as far as I know, SF still works ok in NM, not that much in HM.

As in AB, well everything works in AB, joke aside, yes I guess it would be pretty good for caping.

i dont like SF unless i have at least 2 people in the group that has it... i LOVE giving it to my heros on my imbagon. they keep em burnin and i keep ToF! up..works great. SF is still a very good skill and a couple on a team will create amazing DPS..not like CoP of course but still very good

SF is good enough for nm pve.Of course 2sf eles + ["They're on Fire!"] is cool.
For hm i personally go earth and some supports.

And for ab i think [Savannah Heat]nuker is better.
But also sf will work fine, it's ab.

Searing Flames does not do "damage" in any PvE that matters.

For AB, sure, why not.

SF is fine in AB. In PvE, it really isn't that great since there are better choices out there. A team of SF can still rip through some parts of NM though.
