Is it me or is this skill very very very weak? Yes I understand that it's a "nearby" range as opposed to adjacent like [inferno], and only costs 5e if it hits one person, but isn't the goal of "aoe" skills to do "aoe" damage....

If so, then using starburst puts it up to 10e, on a 10second recharge.... but imo [flame burst] blows star burst away. Shorter re-charge, more damage, at the cost of only 5e more if both hit multiple targets. For an ELITE skill, star burst is pretty lame. At least [double dragon] has a cool effect that is useful, AND only costs 5e no matter what. I just don't see the justification for star burst being on anyone's bar.

There are a lot of crappy Elites, not only for Elementalists, but all Professions. Remember, Double Dragon just got the buff that increases your Fire Magic as an after-effect - it wasn't always that way, it used to just hit for two shots of damage.

When Factions first came out in 2006, E/A's were running around AB using Shadow Steps to unload a few Starbursts in your face, as well as a couple more PBAoE spells. If a couple of them got to you, it was insta-kill.

wtf is up with those elites?

actually I kinda like starburst it'd be awesome if you were 1v1'ing someone

No way. [Second Wind] has to be the worst by a mile. If I didn't need to cap it for the title I wouldn't have wasted my time getting it. I still can not see any use this elite in any build.

Star-stepper was probably one of the funnest ab builds i've ever used. Esp. if you could get people 1v1 with it. I still see people use it occasionally, but double dragon is much more popular now since the buff.

Quicksand is just annoying as hell.
I really, really, really love it.

(Would never use it of course, but whenever I go against PvE groups using it - this is pretty much my priority target.)

Word Of censure, Signet, and Stone Sheath , I could see uses for them, but Scribe's and Signet of removal i really cant see being used, For necro, Tainted flesh,,, no,,,,,and for Ele, Second wind and i guess ward against harm, its more of an annoyance than a real functioning skill
