Ok so im looking for a a good experimentalist build in prophecies. Im on the last three missions and i need a to use water instead of fire. Im going to be in parties a lot and i don't think im going to solo.

Um asking for builds i think is against the forum rules, we can offer help and support to your current builds.

So im just gonna go and throw in some proph-only water skills.

Water Attuement
Glyph of lesser Energy
Deep Freeze
Ice Spikes
Maelstrom
Water Trident (Elite)
Frozen Burst
Armor of frost

Water trident isnt the best elite, but it looks the best in prophecies, unless you want to go as caster support with "Ward Against Harm" which will help loads on the fire island because it gives a bonus armor against fire damage and then more armor against other damage.

Frozen burst i wouldn't usually recommend because it hits foes ajacent to you, meaning you need to have enemies around you, which is never recommended for a caster. But it could be used sparingly for "Crowd Control" i suppose.

Armor of frost isn't really needed, but if you do end up going with henchmen then most likely you'l be the focus of attack, so that could help.

Now all those attack skills are high energy, and mid-long recharge which is horrible. But thats water magic for you.

EDIT: What Jaigoda said is also a good idea. If your an Ele/R it could be a good idea to bring winter, and use more spammable, fire magic skills. So then you'l be dealing cold damage but using fire skills. Specially theres a few "Greater Conflagoration" spirits floating around in the last missions i think, so even better greater conflagoration will convert physical into fire, and your winter would convert it into cold damage, so your warriors will be dealing cold damage too.

Try Water Trident with some AoE slowing skills.

EDIT: If you need another second prof, then you can get a hero with second Ranger, or a ranger her with winter

Just clarifying this, asking for builds like this in a generic manner mean /close thread.

Asking for builds is ok IF it's not generic, i.e, some non general purpose. Also, posting information about your character and a build to work on is needed. We're not here to feed you builds.
