Obsidian Flesh tweak.....
Was just thinking of a way to tweak OF without it becoming completely OP in the way some say SF has become.
As I see it, the biggest downfall of OF is the minimal +AR boost. I would happily drop that if the functionality changed to "and you cannot be knocked down or interrupted".
I would even take some form of penalty such as "when OF ends, your health and energy are reduced to 10% of their maximum" or somesuch.
You would still be vulnerable to conditions caused by physicals - poison, deep wound etc. and signets/touch skills and would need to devote most of your bar to damage reduction via Stoneflesh/Stone Striker/Mantra of Earth. Add in some form of self heal via AoR or Ether Feast and an armour boost from Armour of Earth or Kinetic Armour and the obligatory Glyph of Swiftness and possibly Earth Attunement and you only have 1 or 2 spare slots.
If you are going pure tank, you will probably use Stone Daggers to keep Kinetic up, if not, Sliver will probably slot in.

The biggest downfall is the +AL?
I always thought the 50% slowdown was...it's already an upkeepable spellbreaker, if any minor change is going to happen it shouldn't be armor increase, whole earth line has that.

If your talking about tweaking the skill, then hell, go the whole way and ask for the movement penalty to be removed. This way everyone gets a taste of the SF wateringhole.

I love my ele, but if anything, I'd want to see the speed reduction gone :P

As others have said, obsidian flesh is already quite powerful, and can be maintained indefinitely by an ele with high earth spec.
In my opinion, modifying obsidian flesh to add immunity to knockdown and interrupts would make it very overpowered, probably worse that shadow form is now.

It's not a downfall, it's just somewhat useless. With +20 armor already there only 5 additional armor can be added before it reaches its maximum. Armor of Earth outdoes its armor bonus even on lowest rank so it might as well not be there.

I really don't see how this tweak would make it more OP than SF. In SF, attacks miss therefore you don't get the secondary effects such as conditions. I'm not asking for that. You will still get the physical damage and conditions and will have to deal with the health loss and degen etc.somehow.
Thinking further on my original post and to clarify, I'd happily lose the armour boost, keep the movement penalty and perhaps the end effect could be "when OF ends, you are knocked down and poisoned and crippled for 10 seconds"
A missed cast or a strip and you are toast, so a certain amount of concentration is needed. Signets and touch skills will still ruin your day. PBAoE is another problem. Add to that the fact that you must devote most of your bar to damage mitigation/health and energy management and I don't think it's too OP. Oh, and make it PvE only.
But that's just my opinion
