So I've been running my Earth support Ele with a discordway team for a while. My only damage that I do is through PvE skills that also apply conditions or are a hex (Pain inverter, Vanguard Sniper Support, Technobabble) and I can throw them out constantly with Assassin's Promise. But I'm getting bored with it.

I'm complete Para noob so I was wondering if anyone has tried an E/P with some level of effective constant cond/hexing?

It looks like it's pretty easy to pass out conditions with Para and I can hex easy enough with PvE or Ele skills, but I'd like something with little synergy and I'm not real good at doing that. Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

There is an air build that uses a 9/9/12 spread, spear, e storage, and air, and the bar looks something like this:

Shell Shock
Chest Thumper
(Optional, spear attack)
Invoke Lightning
Chain Lightning
Shock Arrow
Air Attunement
Conjure Lightning

with a lightning spear mod.

LOL without my earth magic I forgot how squishy an ele is. I'll keep playing with this for a bit. Thx.

Here is the build I've put together so far. It lets me have a hex I can throw out often enough to be useful with the Discordway team and a slew of other conditions, as well as a little e-management and occasional dazed for taking down the monks.

Chilling winds (sort of a waste but it's a long lasting hex that recharges fairly fast)
Shell Shock
Chest Thumper
Barbed spear
Maiming Spear
[Stunning Strike]
Shock Arrow
Pain Inverter

I'd like something better for dazing, or something better to help take down healers, but that is what I have so far...

Thunderclap has maybe the longest daze effect in a skill, esp since you can modify its attribute.

When I'm discord calling on my ele, I always bring eruption for the blind, even if my stats aren't max. AoE blind rocks.
