And please stop pretending that the rest of the skillbar really matters. You just spam AP+PvE Skills and have no time for any other skills. If I ever use it on the ele, i bring GoLE, Energy Surge, Res Signet and an empty slot (at 12 in DA and ES)

With Sabway, the only thing that bar needs is Signet of Toxic Shock, And the reason that everyone posts the AP nuker bar is because it blows anything away that you care to mention in PvE.

P.S. I've already thought of Ether Renewal.

I really have to admit that it's the most effective build for an ele. And that's the sad part - the best "ele build" comes without ele skills. I can't give ANY objective reason for NOT using the AP build. I just ... hate it.

The profession using an AP build matters more than you give credit for.
The three commonly used AP builds I see discussed are; N/A, Me/A and E/A.
Mesmers typically just spam the Ebon Sin and sometimes don't bother with the two shouts (which is silly of them). Necromancers get the strongest damage option but have much tighter conditions using Mark of Pain and Barbs. Elementalists get the strongest unconditional, single target spiking capabilities. Lightning Orb does an appreciable amount of damage (usually more than Energy Blast) and it can be cast whilst using the Shouts for a strong spike. The Ritualist has the option of doing something similar, but I think strictly inferior, but Rits have spirits anyway.
In effect the core of the general AP build isn't profession specific, but it does vary in flavour and in play across the professions that use it.

It pains me to see that the AP EBSoH AoE earth build has already been forgotten. For areas with appreciable numbers of foes, it far outperforms the lightning build.

The Earth skills are meh. It's nice for Blind and the odd extra (uncontrolled) knockdown.
Since it doesn't help as much at hitting AP (important against difficult mobs) and the actual damage it does isn't spectacular, it's use is much more risky.

Full payload from Churning + Eruption + EBSoH is 570 against AL 60. And still 360 against AL 100. That should qualify as "spectacular" against a reasonably-sized ball of foes. It should also be enough to get a kill off Finish Him pretty easily. In fact, sometimes I have the opposite problem -- things die before I can get AP cast. (Particularly charr.) The real shortcoming with the build is monsters moving out of the AoE. That certainly does leave you with very little left on your bar to force a kill to get AP going. To a certain degree, you can fix this by paying more attention to positioning and anticipating the AI. Or you can add a snare. Or you can use the lightning build.
