Default Vekk e/mo build help plx :/

Hey guys,
I just wanna say thanks for all the help so far, this community has really helped to improve my game technique. Any ways, to the point now. I recently beat prophecies and decided to embark on eotn. I then unlocked vekk and due to lack of experience with elementalists and build making i am having difficulties creating a decent build for him. Here is what i have so far:

Lightning Strike
Lightning Orb
Blinding Flash
Blurred Vission
Aura of Restoration
Air Attunment
Rez Signet
Empty

Any suggestions or tips on how i can create a better build with only these two games? I kind of want to give vekk a build with decent damage but some support in case my group gets into some trouble. Thank you

For support, ur better off with earth magic skills.
What I suggest is the following few skills (I'm not supposed to give a build...)
Ward against melee
ward against foes
eruption
glyph of lesser energy
earth attunement
magnetic surge can be nice

If ur doing EotN in the snow I would suggest a fire build, since the damage against cold- armored enemies will increase:
Fire attunement
immolate
meteor shower
glyph of lesser energy
searing heat

My opinion should you choose to accept it: don't use searing heat or DOT AoEs without knockdown or snares (deep freeze) since they cause scatter.

My Vekk is an E/Mo ER infuser. I love him.

I don't like using elementalist heroes for damage unless I'm using triple Searing Flames builds, but Ether Renewal is an amazing skill that opens them up to all kinds of excellent support roles.

That's just my opinion though, and it'll probably change again as time goes on. That in no way reflects on anything other than my inclination towards physical damage and meleeing.

It's not against the rules to tell someone that what they want to do might not be the best option and offer them a better one.

When I first started out, if someone had told me about the alternative elementalist builds like protter or orders, I wouldn't have been using Searing Flames, that's for sure.

Go water/earth, if you want defense + damage.
Ward Against Foes
Ward Against Melee
Ward Against Elements (in Hard Mode) // another water nuke (see below)
Blurred Vision (in Hard Mode) // nuke / GoLE
Deep Freeze
Maelstrom
Ice Spikes / Vapor Blade / GoLE
Water Attunement

Never use Frozen Burst.

Works great as a prot+dmg hybrid for a balanced H/H team.
