Default minor, major, sup ?

Has the meta changed?, i am returning from a three-four year break and i have noticed 99% off the builds are showing a +1 skill for head +1 skill for minor rune. Has the HM changed the meta? is the extra health needed over the extra damage now?.

Tbh, in PvE with a decent hero setup, there is not much disadvantage in taking a sup rune for your elemental line and a minor ES rune. I tend to have various headpieces with sups on them.

In PvP, all minors are favoured (I believe).

Sup, always sup on my casters. Players have gotten better at the game and the "meta" became less sucky. Even back in the day always sup for me.

yeah, i have always run Sup in PvE and minor for PvP. Well sometimes Major if i want to get crazy lol.

Used to always have sup runes and to heck with the health loss, after all a sup vigor a +health weapon set and survivor runes gets all that back and more.

Then I started thinking about how the enemy tends to pick on those with lowest armour and or health or it seems like they do.
I was also now doing far more in hard mode where damage is more extreme.

So now I very rarely use a sup rune unless the build will suffer without it, 2 extra points doesn't always make any difference to a skill.

Plus having 7 heroes makes much of the game very easy even if they do not have the absolute maximum points in a skill line.

Way back when I used all sups, now I use minors so I can steer the enemy into attacking my low hp guys first.

It's always the same hero that dies and as such becomes a canary bird danger indicator.
